One of my long-term goals is to do this plex (preferably solo, perhaps in a Tengu), but I've read on this forum that some of the Overseerers in the high-end DEDs have absurd tanking ability that makes them impossible to kill without serious damage. Anyone know if Naval Shipyard is one of them? I don't want to potentially lose ships trying it only to get to the last room and find I can't kill the Antimatter Channeler.

Bring Neuts. They reduce the chance that an NPCs reps will fire.
(I can confirm that this works, but I can't confirm it'll let you solo a 10/10.)

I've tanked it in a purger fit gila kiting at like 300km because our logi couldn't enter the last room, antimatter channeler still hit wrecking for 15k shields but my shields purged themselves by the time he could fire again.
If you orbit him at like 500m he doesn't hit, at 300km its almost as if there is no change in his damage/hit chance.
Friends of mine say they have solo tanked it in faction booster tengu's also.
And he doesn't have an epic station tank like the angel 8/10, he's soloable.
Red leg greaves and that hari guy is completely different story though !

with some care you can solo that plex in a tengu, easier/faster with a buddy though. Structures take to long to kill solo, but there worth it for the extra overseer's effect

10/10 blood version 1 megatron dps with rails is plenty for all dont know about dps output from it tho |

copyshard - he was asking about ANGEL plex. Rails are pretty useless against angels.

i use a buffer tanked 800AC mael (why a mael? coz it was sat there doing nothing :P), resist rigs for exp + kin + 1 extender rig. use exp, kin, inv and lse's. and my alt in perma AB'ing 4 rep scimi. takes roughly an hour to do the plex, and its worth it for the nice lootz.
initial dps can stress the tank a tad, but coz youre ac fit with multi gyro+te in the lows you have the dps and the range to cut down the incoming dmg pretty rapidly.
the final overseer is as easy to kill as a 1mil belt rat. the 2 overseer structures are a pita to kill but worth it for the 227mil sell prices on the overseers effects.

Faction/Deathspace fitted loki along with damage implants (5%) and complett crystal set lets you do Angel 10/10 in under 1 hour but you realy need to be maxed on subsystem skills and such.. crap skills wont do the job.
Ship+Imps will cost you around 4-5b but its well worth it I made that back in 3 days 1x10/10,3x8/10,2x7/10
PS: in a tengu you wont be able to solo 10/10 because your signature is far to high for the final boss.. he's likly to insta pop you. also your dps outpost is far to weak compared to loki.

Did not read anything in this thread but a tengu's dps is too low compared to a lokis I luled

Used an active rep Maelstrom with 1400mm IIs and resists stacked for Angels. Had a Basilisk plugged in and, while the incoming damage was heavy off the bat, didn't have any problems with my DPS. Took a bit longer to do with the artys...maybe around 1 1/2 hours (was first and only time doing plex)? and the loot is definitely worth it. No implants used.
If you can get a T3 up to similar levels of DPS, you'll have no problem with the plex.

Is this using the Amplification node subsystem? That seems to be the PvE syb for the Loki.
