I want to set up to volley fire my Artillery Cannons on my BC. I am supposed to be able group/stack identical weapons by going into the fitting window and holding down the shift key and moving the weapons but it doesn't work. I have four identical weapons. I tried searching but apparently the search function is broke atm.

Can't be done from fitting window.
Go into space, enter 'grouping mode' option on HUD menu. Drag into single group (make sure no ammo in any of the guns to be grouped).

And it only works with the same weapon types, ie. no mixing scout and gallium artillery into one group.

CAN be done from the fitting window while docked. Unload ammo, hold shift and drag turrets on top of eachother, then reload ammo. Can also be done in space, either by going into grouping mode or (this I prefer, I find grouping mode a bit useless) by simply shift dragging them again on top of eachother (after unloading ammo). ----------- Want to learn combat/PVP? To further clarify, when doing it from the fitting window you have to drag a ungrouped turret onto a grouped one, otherwise it won't work.

Highlighted the important part - this is the most common mistake people make when trying to group guns. Make sure the guns are empty first! ---------------------------------------------- I don't have an alt, but there's a main that would be upset if he heard me say that... |
