whyme2	Posted - 2004.12.15 21:38:00 - [1] Will it turn out this way? BOB are likely to remove NSA from the north then will they keep to there borders and consolidate resources. After what happened in the north when BOB removed FU and PA in a matter of months. Now will they venture south as quickly as they did attacking the northern alliances? looking at previous posts CA are on the downfall and will soon fall to XETIC. If BOB attack CA and defeat them will they go and take on XETIC aswell? Or will the southern alliances unite against BOB?

It has taken Evolution 10 months to seize the region of Branch. In terms of Eve gametime that really is an eternity, and testament to their determination. Also, as the PA was (by forum standards) considered the weakest of the large alliances, then how long is it going to take them to conquer all the others? Frankly I doubt it's going to happen. 2) Southern alliances with the exception of Curse have really not experienced the full weight of firepower that Evol & friends can muster. FA bricked themselves and opted to forgive (iirc) 24 BS losses for 1 evol frigate kill. Any other takers? Highly unlikely, and tbh it's quite probably part of the overall Evol plan. When they are fighting away from their main target then it becomes, in Hitchhikers Guide terms, an SEP. Somebody Elses Problem. Who wants to fly over most of the map to engage them in combat where they will probably be outnumbered and outgunned. Until such times as the Eve collective gains any real initiative it's not going to happen. And I wouldn't count on that kinda thing happening any time soon. So for the foreseeable future, BoB is going to go where it wants. And that, is inevitable.
