What is to happen if there is already 100k of stuff in the POS? Granted the stuff will be reduced in size.. but does that mean halved? i.e. it's halve ice size and then the POS size also?

without knowing what isotopes etc have changed to its impossible to say, but I would hazard a guess it wont be half.

Well yeah that's what I mean...
If the POS has 100k m/3 of isotopes in (for arguements sake) and they are reduced n size by 25% (thus become 75k m/3) what happens to the excess (i.e. 75k m/3 doesn't fit into 50k m/3)?
At a guess I would think it would do what missiles did when they first changed it -- leave what was there there, but once it's gone it's gone... It'll probably allow overflow until it's used up.

Volume Changes as follows:
Heavy Water: 0.75 to 0.4 Liquid Ozone: 0.75 to 0.4 Isotopes: 0.4 to 0.15 Strontium Clathrate: 5 to 3
Daily Load(24 hours supply excluding strontium) : 11,448m3 down to 5,928m3
Base capacity: 50,000 = 8 days supply + 4hrs strontium reserve or 7 days and 14 hours strontium and so on.

Perhaps it is similar to when missile launchers had their capacity reduced and missiles were made smaller. They could still hold the same amount, just that the missiles were smaller. Reminds me of how easy you newbies have it, back when Torps took up 10 m3 each. -------------------------------- CCP can patch away bugs, but they can't patch away stupidity. |
