I came on this part,
Worldshaping
òThe surface gravity of several prime fiction planets has been changed. òSeveral prime fiction planets now have city lights on the dark side of the planet.
Could someone explain what are "prime fiction planets" & what present and/or future use they hold?
Thank you.

prime fiction planets are those planet that will eventually be used for faction warfare when dust 514 first comes out (Intaki V, Caldari Prime, etc) SIG: if my message has spelling errors its cos i fail at typing properly :P |

Planets featured in Chronicles - the planest which have stories written about them or are prime planets in the Chronicles - I believe it was brought to CCP's attention (or, whined about, take your pick) that the surface gravity's on multiple planets were completely unrealistic - they've been brought to something more realistic now, I believe.

Prime fiction planet = A planet that features in the backstory, is the homeworld of a major race, features in an eve short story or book or any world the devs deem important for future releases i.e. the devs may for example pick five worlds across eve to act as tutorial battlegrounds for Dust 514.

Prime fiction planets are those that are mentioned heavily in Eve's backstory, for instance the home worlds of many of the races in Eve.
There's quite a few of them around, and they're part of Eve's "Prime Fiction" (canon fiction that is the base for the storyline in Eve).

That makes sense, at first i thought it had something to to with ambulation. Backstory planets as a primer for Dust 514, sounds cool, looking forward to it.
Thx to everyone for prompt reply.

Well they've been there for a long time, and they're not necessarily there for dust. A lot of the core planets and home worlds probably won't be available to play on in Dust, as they're the most heavily protected planets in New Eden.
There's a lot of planets you'll see around that have specific names rather than just holding the name of the star they orbit plus a number. Most of these are of high importance in Eve's backstory.
Go take a read, there's some interesting backstory behind most of them

Also, what does the change of the surface gravity mean? Did these planets have a gravity beforehand?
