Wow this ship looks really really good. It reminds me of the International space station but with thrusters on the back. Why is it so huge thou? I undocked the same time 2 ravens did and its exactly the same size lol :) Isnt this just spost to be a skillless hauler?

No offense, but this ship is way to cool looking to be what it is... Should of been a new ORE offensive / escort cruiser or something with 4 highs, 4 mids and 4 lows. Or something of that nature.

All well and good but... only 1,000 m¦ of PI Goo space?!
Couldn't they have made it 20,000 m¦ or something? 1,000 is WAY too low! EveMart - The best modules, at the best prices, in the best time. |

Agreed. I produce more than 1km3 on my single 0.8 sec planet with only a Limited CC in a single day.

Think you are right, it is a cool looker and will be well liked design wise - no reason why ORE(CCP) could not also seed BPOs of a combat/escort variant onto the market in a couple of months leaving the originals as they are. Would be cool if they gave it a big cargo bay so it can be used as fleet support vessel to carry cap boosters, repair paste and ammo for lo-sec, null sec raiding parties. Give it no weapon bonuses so lowish dps compared to dps cruisers but allow it to fit any type of weapons (missles, guns or lasers) so anyone can fly it. Give it a big tank and nice agility. Job done!

I strongly recommend you don't shoot my Iteron; not only will it most likely survive the blast, you'll also disturb CONCORD, and CONCORD officers do NOT like being disturbed while eating their donuts. -----

Edited by: Exodus Risen on 29/06/2010 18:37:25 It definately looks nice, and though not one of the MOST useful ships, it does have some potential for lowsec PI activities, and makes for a decent entry level (PI only) hauler. While it only sports a 100 m3 regular cargo bay, if you right click it, you can open a 1000 m3 PI goods cargo bay or a 1600 m3 Command Center only bay. 1000 m3 is decent for a starting character who hasnt had the time or inclination to train up industrials yet.
Also, look at a few of the other characteristics:
This is a cruiser sized ship with Defensive capabilities and Mass/Agility to match, but with the addition of an only 150 m sig radius, which puts it somewhere in the lock time / targetability of less than a cruiser. It also has a low 300 second recharge rate on its cruiser level shields, which isnt too shabby.
With its 4 low slots, consider this basic example (Again, im not saying its a "great" ship, but it does have SOME potential):
2 Warp Core Stabilizers 1 400 mm plate 1 Medium Armor Repairer
Not only do you have the ability to pass up some basic single or double pointing pirate gangs, but you will be hard to shoot at and target to boot. Plus with the slightly expanded armor capacity and a repairer, you might just have enough time to escape.
Or consider tossing on a Damage control instead of the armor or the repper for some decent structure buffer.
Just some thoughts

Ship looks nice and all, but I won't use it for managing my colonies because its cargo and planetary goods bays are too small. I guess if I wanted to haul around 5 command centers it would be useful for that.
