Is there anyway to get rid of a jump clone?
(this is an alt, for some reason I can't choose my main anymore for forums)

Edited by: Oni Triad on 29/06/2010 23:33:57 You can only destroy jump clones in a station (if you are currently there), the only other way is to jump to the station and undock and get killed/selfdestruct. Unless you happen to have implants in that clone (which means you wouldn't want to destroy it remotely anyway) I don't understand why you have a problem with that.

Not without going there but you can jump to it, undock and then self destruct. This will take you back to your medical clone. However, this will cost medial insurance to get another medical clone (assuming you are over 900k SP) and please make sure you are covered for it. If you are not at an NPC station (you very likely are) I think you can get it moved but I do not know the details.
EDIT: Cool, posted same time as the above to the second:)

Just note that if you are actually trying to get rid of the jump clone forever, self destructing will not reduce the amount of jump clones you have (it will just simply send you to the station where your medical clone contract is set, while your body you were previously in sits in the station it was left at thus nothing changes), the only way to lower the amount of ones you have is to travel to the stations where it is installed and destroy it via the medical station window. ____________________________________________ When going to a party with wine, women, and song. I'm curious as why you'd want to get rid of a JC anyway.

Correct - this is a better strategy IMO. It doesn't actually destroy the jump-clone, it simply moves it to a more favoured location. Like others have stated, I'm not sure why you'd want to actually destroy a JC, when you can move it around for the cost of a medical clone upgrade (or if you can fly it out of where it is, then it costs even less).
