I have not bothered to count, I am not even sure I can count high enough as I only have 8 fingers and 2 thumbs. They do seem to be returning in mass though, shame I was so encouraged by the war on bots talk and the noticeable results shortly after. I could list quite a few here though if proof is needed providing that is not against CCP forum rules. |

Don't list them to us. List them to CCP via "report bot". To convince us, tell us the system, time they tend to be on and what activity they are doing. Any interested player can then go see for themselves. http://vincentoneve.wordpress.com/ |

Already done, I mentioned them to someone else in local and they also confirmed that they had also reported them serveral times over. It seems to be falling on deaf ears, unless it just takes a very long time to investigate them? |

Well, there is one good way to tell if a person is botting, their toon is on 23/7 or pretty damn close to it. |

But... you can only notice if *you* are 23/7 also... which will make you a bot also.

*Vincent Athena looks for a list of systems, times, and activities; finds none.
CCP will sometimes let bots run if they are part of a larger investigation, say into an RMT ring. Also, it could be players that simply play in a bot-like manner. CCP investigated and found that they were not actually bots. http://vincentoneve.wordpress.com/ |

Well of course I admit I could be wrong. If I am wrong though so are others because as I have already said I know others have also reported them.
What make me think they are all bots:
- They all belong to the same corp
- The corp has it's tax rate set to 100%
- They all have random names
- All the characters seem to have been created the same day in March 2012 (Is that just after the purge earlier this year?)
- Most seem to be on 24/7 although I can't say for sure all of them are so I could be wrong about this.
Although like I say I could be wrong, but this is what makes me and others who have reported them think they are bots. Just to clarify I am talking about what I beleive are mission bots. |

Sorry darling, not true, but you can sign on at a given time and then come back hours later and see the same people, then sign off and come back for when the servers shut down and guess what the same people still there. They run their barges and exhumers like clock work. |

You can also check for 23/7 activity via teamwork: Have several corp members in different time zones add the suspects to their watchlist. Then see if anyone ever sees them log off.
Again, posting their names here is not a good idea. But describing them; system, activity, and so on, is OK. If many many players go there, convince themselves there are bots and report them, it is more likely to get CCP's attention.

Exumers you could bump and see if there's no reaction. Still could be AFK miner, not bot. But you mentioned mission bot. That's something else....
I have seen angry ninjas accuse mission runners of being bots because the mission runners didn't fall for the trick and didn't shoot back. Ignoring the ninja is not the same as being a bot.
Can you tell me more info on the ones you spotted (no names of course, forum-friendly info)

It worries me tho, I fly a rapier and I feel like someone's gonna attack me in the minin fields any day now... but I also have this there gun on the ship that dosnt need ammo so I'll be ready for em! Don't have much more info to tell on top of what I have already provided, other than they all seem to fly CNR's which is annoying as they require more players to gank over Tengu's (I think, I am no ganking expert).
When a few of us decided to try and scan them down in missions and trigger all the spawns and then bump their CNR's to death before it could warp we noticed this was not easy as they all seemed to be blitzing the easier level 4 missions. This meant by the time a fleet member had scanned them out (someone who is good at scanning) the CNR's were usually all ready leaving the pocket. The odd time we did catch one because of the mission and lack of rats in the missions they choose to run the plan would not of worked anyway. |

Your mate suck at scanning. But you are on the right track tho... You just have to:
1. Scan faster (tip... ship id will be the same) 2. Steal the mission item. "This is the Ninja. He will scan you down; he will salvage your wrecks and there shall be no aggro" ~ The Story of the Ninja |

Well I mission there as well and as it happens in a CNR, I would not want to be mistaken for a bot. As you ask though try looking anywhere in Blackrise esp Uuhulanen. |

Will try harder always room for improvement. I can assure you my mate is quick to scan them out and we know the ID will always be the same . The mission item sounds interesting how does that work? I am not sure that the missions they are choosing to run have an item to steal I will investigate that further though.

I'm not familiar with the region so I can't tell you from the top of my mind which missions have mission item. But the way you do this is by checking the rats and the mission collidables...
This page could be of great help...
Even if there's no mission item, you could kill the rats and deny them the bounties. "This is the Ninja. He will scan you down; he will salvage your wrecks and there shall be no aggro" ~ The Story of the Ninja |

So all that is needed is for someone to make a gank alt, get on their list, then afk camp the system 23/7?
