Hey guys, just got an Alt able to jump into an orca for some serious mining.
Studying up Mining director to 4.
What fit should i get for a high sec mining gang link Orca?
I think a Inherent Implants 'Highwall' HX-2 would be handy too, any other implants to get that may help?

for highsec when I am in a mining gang and the Inherent Implants 'Highwall' HX-2 wont be such a good idea if your just going to boost them use the Mining Foreman Mindlink.

First of all, do not bother with Shield Boosters on an Orca, build up buffer instead. Second, forget the Harvester Capacitor Efficiency gang link, every miner must be able to manage his own cap reserves. You, as a mining director, want to provide better range for the Strip Miner modules and shorten their cycles for higher yield. You want to be able to utilize the Mining Foreman Mindlink. You'll need a set of light drones against belt rats, a set of light shield rep drones and a set of light armor rep drones (because sh*t happens). Try this:

You have plenty of cargo capacity on an Orca to collect ore while your haulers are shuttling so I wouldn't waste slots on cargo enhancement.
I'd go with something like

At all Vs it's got 287k ehp 147 passive regen it's cap stable. It still has 37500 m3 of cargo hold plus another 40k in the corp hanger and the 50k ore bay. It can fend off all but the most determined gank squads and you'll cost them to take it out.
Seriously don't do the cargo rigs it's a 400mil isk ship tank the damned thing make em work for the kill.
