Average around 20 FPS. On a good day I'll get 30. But sometimes drop to 10ish in POS. How about you?
I'm on a 24" iMac 2.8 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [GNSTR]

Average around 40 FPS. I can get up to 70 if I'm in empty space with just me looking at the background. In POS I get between 30 and 40.
Mac Mini 2.0 2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo. I only get these frames because I have interval at immediate, which is a sure way to fry my comp's insides. -----

With Interval = Immediate I can get about 40 FPS during mid-warp, and around 25 FPS at a busy POS. It depends how much you zoom in.. :(
I also have shader and texture quality on high. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [GNSTR]

O, forgot to mention i have shaders on low (it's crappy, but the frames are obviously better). -----

20-30 FPS on good days. 10 or less in areas with lots of gas clouds and or asteroids. Large Fleet fights are usually unplayable. Medium to low graphics settings with no shadows, no HDR ect.

I'm running a 24" 3.06 with the NVIDIA GeForce GT 130 512vram.

From what I'm reading here, it looks pretty bad as far as the Mac client performance goes.
I'm sure I could get higher frame rates if I turn down the texture and shader quality, but the game looks so nice on my Mac with the higher settings compared to my PC. If I dropped the texture and shader quality, it wouldn't be worth playing on the Mac me thinks. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- [GNSTR]

Macbook Pro 15inch from a couple years ago (Nvidia 8600M card). With everything on high I was running at 20-25fps, but that would spike down if anything big happened.
I just went through the effort of installing Eve on my bootcamp partition though... WOW! Exact same settings and I'm cruising at 60fps. I don't know what the Mac client is doing, but I'll never use it again.

What I have discovered so far is this: 1. The Cider client is still using X11, it just obfuscates it. This is an ancient build of X11 app. It's why Windowed mode sucks so much.
2. Cider itself is STILL based off of some ancient build of Wine.
The two of these combined mean the performance isn't anywhere near where it should be. There is no way to upgrade the X11 compiled in to Cider, but you can install Wine and the Windows client. You will get a dramatic performance increase.
Frankly, I don't think Transgaming have updated the Cider build EVE's using in ages.

This pretty much describes my experience in a nut shell. Sorry CCP, but I'll never use your mac client again.
And neither will my buddies. Transgaming's lack of progress on what is effectively a broken client (for me and the people I know) has reached a point where I have lost all faith in the clients future.
Bootcamp here I come.

I made a post on my experiences, because I never noticed this one.
specs: I use a MBP 5,1, 2.66ghz core2duo, 4gb RAM
Running 1 client:
Using the 9400 gfx card: Anywhere between 12 and 30 FPS with settings pretty low (only textures set to medium). It can run 20 minutes on 30~35 FPS and then suddenly start going up and down constantly between 10 and 30.
Using the 9600 gfx card: Anywhere between 12 and 80 FPS, although 80 is exceptional in empty space with no mods activated. Same as with the 9400 gfx card it can go from 50, dipping to 10 and going up again to 50.
Running 2 clients:
Well, this has become nearly impossible since Tyrannis, especially after 1.0.3. Same effects as above only the FPS drops down so much that is becomes unplayable.
I am really thinking about giving bootcamp a try when playing EVE..
