hey what is a good ship for WH exploration? Not fighting just say hacking and archeology. Maybe a destroyer or frigate? Just something cheap, and please link a fit for one if you can.

Go to a radar or mag site in a frigate or destroyer and you will die. You can't just fly around and do hacking/archeology with impunity. Use a Zephyr or a covops if you want to fly around w-space to explore.

I use a Ferox BC for my WH explorations mainly because it has a lot of mid slots. ...

That's the troot.
If your ship lacks tank and spank, you will be finding all sorts of lovely radar and archeology hack/arch sites that will get your ship peeled like a banana.
There is a careful threshold of what a ship can handle when equipped with exploration fit, and what is left of damage dealing and tank after that. The point of compensation is gained through skills, and so it takes a long long time to put together a BC with hack, arch, cloak, launcher, and salvager that can handle some of the high end sites. A simple rule I follow is to use a comparable threat level to the level 4 mission, and what the ship can handle, and then take the ship, put in the modules for exploration, and presume right from that point you are down a level for maximum threat. I refer to T1 BC hulls. T2 and T3 are a different world, and hence the value of those ships.

I know its not the best for some people as they try to maximise profit without involving anyone else but the best solution is to bring a friend here. Just split the mods you need to use in WH. 1 bring a tractor beam the other salvager, same with analyzer mod and so on.

As a general rule, i never go solo into a WH, so my ship of choice is a Tier 2 BC. or in my case, a cane.
Have 4 hardeners, an EANM2, and a CPR2 in the lows, 3 cap rechargers and an AB in the meds, 6 guns, a probe launcher and a medium RR in the highs. I deal DPS, my corpie hacks, scans, salvages and fights as well. Works pretty damn well too
