My new alienware X51 pc is crashing to desktop when I try to run two clients of EVE. It works fine with just one client running. I get the following error:
CCP ExeFile has stopped working
A problem has caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.
Any help would be much appreciated because I would really like to run the two clients. Thats half the reason I got the new PC. Oh and the game is broken (i.e. when I try to re log it gives me the same error) untill I restart the PC. |

Join the club. I've been playing Eve for about a year and a half. As of about 11 days ago, it started happening to me. A lot of others are having this problem too. I refuse to just play one account when I've been playing two simultaneously my entire Eve career.
Anyways, while Eve has been my main MMO these past 18months, not being able to play for almost two weeks sucks. I just let both my account's subscriptions run out. It's a shame really. Also, if you check around this forum, there are a lot of other threads with things people are trying to get things fixed. |

Hmmm okay thanks for the reply. I figured others were having issues as well. Luckily I have a laptop that can run EVE at 25-30 fps on medium graphics so I can run one account on that but its kind of a pain. |

Ironically I am gettting the same thing. Just bought a new Alienware X51, installed Eve got it all up and it ran like a charm for about 25 minutes and then whammo. CCP exefile issues, now everytime I get onto the charatcer sheet is pauses and there pops up the error message, I tried tools, I tried updating video card, direct x upto date..what is the deal, I never had this issue with my old computer / Vista...Now it is not working???? Might need to cancel both accounts if I can't get it up soon. |
