so ive been watching a lot of video's on pirating, and the guys always find some ****** in a caracal with no tank to kill. but every time i look in my local low-sec in the eifer (minmatar) area theres a couple people there, most of which are part of a corp who fly succubus's and pwn me sideways. i know its a bit stupid asking for places to PvP for the same reasons people wont disclose market tips, but are there better low-sec PvP areas or am i doing it wrong?
thanks

There really isn't an area where n00bs in caracals congregate and wait for you to gank them. I don't know anything about your particular area, but you might want to find a place near a 0.0 exit or one of the factional warfare areas. For example Black Rise, bleak lands, molden heath. Besides that find a pirate corp to join, that would probably be the best thing for a new character.

That's my old home. It just so happens to be the home of M34N Corp and Kane Rizzel as well, so it's a terrible place to learn. Try Red vs Blue to learn how to pvp, then places around Amamake, Tama, and Old Man Star. Not the systems themselves, but the slightly less crowded surrounding ones.

That's good advice - do a month in RVB and you'll have the basics down. Move a load of ships down to a hi-sec/lo-sec entry point like Villore - Old Man Star then go hunt people like you who are doing the same thing. Run from anything you don't like the look of, get good at recognising different modules so you can see how ships are fitted, avoid blobs, stay mobile, hit and run and have some fun with it - it's all gravy!

No, Rancer is a good spot to get blobbed in. Though my same advice exists, fly the low-sec pipes around Rancer. They'll likely be populated, and not have the massive gangs and camps of the system itself. Never go solo into a pvp hub such as Rancer, Tama, Old Man Star, Amamake...etc unless you know very well what you're doing and/or have good backup.
Dr is also correct, the more you fly the more you learn about every aspect of piracy and pvp. Red vs Blue is by far the best place to learn pvp, far better than how I learned, which was dying dozens of times in low-sec for every kill I managed to sc**** together.

Best place to pirate is WOW. It would be a lot less irritating for everyone involved.
