Currently I can see no method in Account Management pages to
1. Reactivate an account with a Plex in Redeemed Items
2. Remove Credit Card Details so can use Plex without risk of CC being charged
3. Extend an account with a PLEX in redeemed items
Has this been disabled or never been there? I know the accounts in question have Plex in redeemed items

1&3. I'm not sure if there's an option or not, you can however petition to have your account opened temporarily to allow you to apply the PLEX in game.
2. It's my understanding that as soon as you have paid with a PLEX the payment method changes.

Nope - had my credit card charged for a renewal despite 2 payments made by Plex in game

The Cancel Subscription, use it to cancel the renewal charges(it does not end your subscription immediately or anything, its just stupidly worded) or theres a Change payment method link on the sub details page I think that you can probably abuse.

Edited by: Usagi Tsukino on 03/07/2010 17:22:31 When you use a PLEX (at least in game) it pushes your next credit card billing date back 30 days. I've never been inappropriately billed when I used a PLEX in game.
Also, I thought they took PLEX out of redeemed items because it didn't work right and if you needed to use a PLEX to reactivate your account you just petitioned and they (usually) would grant you a 24 hour or so reactivation to buy one in game.

1. Change Payment method does not appear to have Plex listed - checked that and the account does have Plex on it
2. The account I am having issues with I had canceled and it has expired - again no option to pay by Plex seems crazy to have to petition so I can redeem a Plex into game to apply

1. Log into Account Management. 2. Choose to reactivate the account from the 'Common tasks' menu or by going to the 'Subscription details' section. 3. On the page where you choose the payment method an option will be given to redeem a Plex and reactivate your account.

1) If your account is inactive and you choose the option to reactivate, PLEX will appear at the top of the list of payment options if you have a PLEX available in your redeemable items.
2) Cancelling your subscription will prevent future charges to your credit card. Cancelling your subscription will not interupt your game play, so you can continue to play until your game time runs out.
3) If the account is active, then apply the PLEX ingame. You can pull it out of your redeemable items into your assets and then apply the PLEX from any location.

I just checked one of my inactive accounts. Looks like it got moved down the page. You now need to scroll to see it as the fifth option. There is a huge empty space between "WebMoney Transfer" and "Pilot License Extension (PLEX)" I didn't see it at first because it doesn't look like there are any more options after "WebMoney Transfer"
