Shinshi Casoyako	Posted - 2004.12.17 15:14:00 - [1] I just got a question. I am flying a kestrel and am doing alot of 1st level missions. Now I recently have aquired a 2nd level agent. I tried to do one of those missions. The mission ships itself are pretty easy but there were 2 sentry guns shooting me like crazy. I could not finish this mission because I could not get the senry guns down. What do I need to do or how much damage do I need to do to kill those sentry guns? What is the range of those sentry guns? What type of damage are they doing? Thnx for the answer :)

The current sentries appear to have about 50K range on the lvl1, 75k on the lvl2, and 100+k on the lvl3. All you can do is load up on ammo get within your range and kill them. There is no trick you can use other then tanking it out. I recommend coming in approach the closest one kill it, warp out and repair, rinse and repeat. If you don't have the fire power in a Kestral, move up to a cruiser. If you can't fly a cruiser, all you can really do is get help, sucks but that is just the way it is right now. Also just a personal note based strictly on my experiences, may vary with others. Learn how to fly Amarr ships and use beam weapons. Until the next round of nerfing, beams are the current Uber weapons. 2005.01.21 05:09:06combatYour Tachyon Beam Laser I perfectly strikes Blood Priest, wrecking for 533.1 damage.
