So I tried to do some PI for the first time today and have one question for you guys. How is it I can run this game on the highest settings and have no problem with freaking pvp battles but as soon as I enter planet mode my computer gets really really slow and I cant change how much of the resources on the planet I see? I tried turing down my settings and had no luck, it was still choppy and slow.
Are u fcking serious ccp I can fly in freaking fleet battles but I cant fkcing do PI with my computer lol how ridiculous.

funny, in my case its the other way around, check your own computer before you blame CCP
also, fleet battles, how many participants are you talking about 40?, 70?, 200?

Yea your probally right about that. Well the biggest I was in was about 30 people. I just dont understand how my computer could do that and not work in planet mode. Idk if Im the only one who is having this problem or what but I am open to any suggestions on how to fix the problem.

When you load grid and all you see is white from sensor boosters, thats a fleet fight

Try looking into a little better graphics card or update drivers. The graphics for the planet models can be a little... hard... on older cards. Without any details on your hardware, the best we can do is guess on what you've got going.
Oh, and as said above, 30 pilot fights are more barroom brawls than a fleet fight.

Confirming that 30 people constitutes a massive client-side load.
It's your computer; turn your EVE graphics settings down and see if that makes a difference.
