Question about a 'research' item.

ConchRepublic	Posted - 2004.12.17 16:49:00 - [1] Ok I have asked this 2 other places, and have not gotten a straight answer, so I will ask here. I got 1 unit of "Amarrian Starship Engineering Research Data" from an agent as a special offer. (Not a BP, not a skill book). Problem is it has no picture, or description of what it is, what it does, or how to use it. Can someone give me some insight on this? Thanks in advance. ---------- It's always funny until someone gets hurt, and then it's just hilarious.

When you obtain a t2 bpo and attempt to research the bp's efficiency (to make units less costly to produce), you must use a researchable database. I believe this is what you are describing. To use the database, you must possess the bpo. You then initiate the research in a lab slot and the units of database in your hangar will be consumed. ULEASH THE MONKEY!

Calladen Nimitz	Posted - 2004.12.18 17:34:00 - [9] In all honesty I don't know what you have. I'd suggest you fill out the "ask a question" deal on the Eve website and ask them. Put the item in a specific hangar and mention that in your question. They can actually go into the hangar and see what it is. Maybe the GM can tell you then. If it isn't R.Db and isn't a skillbook I'm clueless on this one and I not a research dummy. Good luck. Calladen

There was a question when the R&D agents started if you would be able to move your rp's to another agent after you had access to a better agent. This might be the item that either keeps the research points or is infact some research points by itself. -Win if you can, lose if you must, but always cheat!!!!!

Threat	Posted - 2004.12.21 19:43:00 - [17] look in the rewards for loyalty point thread that is stickied in the missions forum (it might be in the old non-stickied one). I thought I saw that someone needed some of those items. I believe that it is a trade type good that will be needed to complete other missions.
