Basically the title. I heard it takes a total of 8 downtimes in order for your corporation's standings to be set (so one can, for example, lay a high sec POS), but after waiting 8 downtimes my corporation does not seem to have any standings.
Is this a glitch? Or do I have to wait longer ____

It takes 7 days for corp standings to come up. Since you haven't supplied details, I'll give you the scattergun version of the process.
For high sec POS launching, the standing you're interested in is faction standing. Whichever npc faction has sovereignty where you want to set your POS is the faction you need standing with. Your corp faction standing will be the average of the faction standing of your corps members.
For high sec POS launching you need a standing of 5 to set in 0.5 sec space, 6 for 0.6 sec and 7 for 0.7 sec. No POS's allowed in 0.8 sec or higher.

And after those 7 days, clear your games cache to see the standings. Without having cleared the cache, it always showed nothing. But remember, wait 7 days!

I have definitely waited the 7 days, and was rather perplexed this morning when I checked my corp standings before I went to work.
When I get home I'll clear my cache, and get to work on setting up my POS!
Thanks for the tips! I was really not looking forward to waiting longer
