IF i have paid 30 dollars for a plex - or even 60 dollars for two plex (etc) what happens to time if it is destroyed in my hauler!
You cannot simply destroy time - time is a quality not a quantity - so where does it go
Into CCP time vault thats where along with the secret of Ankhempatoria (or whatever her name was who was lost from CSM)
IF its in the hands of CCP they have the power to realease it back into the game.
Its all cyclical so do not worry or quit game

every time a plex is destroyed all pilots get a free 30 seconds of gametime.

Time doesnt exist.
All you noobs learn the Special Theory of Relativity and think its there. But if you made an effort to really understand the General theory you realize that time is a contrived construct we use as a generic place holder for averaging the the sequence of all events this side of of the massively expanding margins of visible space.

1) Fixed that for you.
2) You can have a quantity of time.
3) If you wanna be a prick about it, a PLEX isn't time. A PLEX is, as it's called, a "30 Day Pilot's License Extension", meaning that it says "Hey CCP, extend my subscription by 30 Days!". You don't literally lose 30 days of "time" if it's destroyed, just the time on your account.

Since at the time of the destruction of the PLEX(es) the items were not used as such, the time they'd give you also does not exist. You can't destroy what doesn't exist, neither can something go poof that doesn't exist.

No, you loose the right to QQ over lost plex. When you buy a GTC, you buy gametime. When you change it to a plex, you CHOOSE to trade that game time for an ingame item.
When you got a plex, you can sell it, destroy it, stockpile it w/e, or you can CHOOSE to trade that in for gametime.
The point is, it's your choice to turn money in an ingame item. |
