Hey,
i recently got back to EVE. I have a slightly over a billion ISK and a JF. PVP nowadays seems to be all T3 and capitals, so I'm gonna need more money than that. Unfortunately I don't have access to stationless 0.0 anymore, just NPC 0.0, lowsec and highsec. I can fly most ships except supercapitals. I also have perfect manufacturing efficiency and good trading skills. Decent exploration/archaeology skills. Research only basics for now, but can work on that. The problem is I don't have a lot of time. Maybe two-three hours in the evening. And not every evening. What do I do to make more money? I'd be thankful for suggestions,
Anja

Buy low sell high. In other words, play the market.

Huh?
And yes, station trading with one billion could make you 20-50 million per day without too much trouble, while only playing 2-3 hours each night.

Thanks,
Look at products, work out profit margins, check price histories and traffic.
Excel really helps and make sure you have a calculator.

Mkay. Was hoping for something new, maybe planetary interaction (I haven't read up on that yet, should probably do that.) Back to station trading it is then.

Load JF with stuff bought cheap.
Jump JF to a non-kick-out 0.0 NPC station.
Sell stuff not-so cheap (cover your fuel costs and make a profit).
Jump JF to not-so-busy, low-sec non-kick-out station and exit to high-sec.
Rinse - repeat.
OR Station trading is really simple, for the person that asked. Here's an example.
You find a product that has a highest buy order of say 10 ISK and a lowest sell order for 100 ISK.
You place a buy order for 10.01 ISK and buy lots of them. (just higher than the best buy order)
Once you have some in stock, place a sell order for 99.99 ISK (just lower than the lowest sell order).
You make 89.98 ISK on every item (edit: you also need to account for taxes and brokerage fees, so your profit will be a bit less).
Monitor your orders and make sure you stay above the other buys and below the lowest sells. Your profit margin will eventually shrink - find another product, but this time buy at 100 and sell at 1000. Keep scaling up.
*numbers are indicative only, just find the best margins you can. ______________________ Agony Unleashed Home of the PvP University |

Dodixie. Right-click in space and warp to the last station on that list.
To find trade hubs, you can simply check where the most market orders come from. Every Region has a more or less important trade hub. The number of players in such a system indicate how important the trade hub is. Jita, Rens, Amarr, Dodixie are among the most visited trade hubs in EVE.
