well www.eve-radio.com kept me playing eve (dj'ing for them helps) after i got SO bored of MMO gaming. Now starting to like playing games online again but still it was the community and everything that kept me in.

Selene D'Celeste - I spend way too much of my time these days playing poker at www.eohpoker.com , or banking for them.
Cyvok - CEO of Celestial Horizons when I was in it, the head of the now defunct ASCN and the man I helped build the very first titan in EVE with.
Waagaa Ktlehr - Taught me how to PVP way back when I first started playing EVE, and his motto "If you end up in a fair fight, you planned it wrong" is one I still live by.
All the former Gekidoku/CLS-F members, where we took and held a BoB station by ourselves when they were massive and 'unbeatable'

Website has to be SHC, the amount I've learnt from there is phenomenal.
Batloard / DMNA / Brick / Scooter1 ( awesome HED fights ) - Started off as an almost complete noob with a a few PvP kills and some tolerable knowledge I had garnered from SHC, after 6 months while still capable of complete ****ups had become a more than competent PvPer.
Especially Batloard gave me some very solid advice even after I decided I needed to find a stronger EU TZ.
Finally I'd also add Kil2 for his videos and Raimo for the constant support he gives on the forums to those who want to solo, both of them make sure I know it's the area I really need to put some time into discovering. Raimo is definitely the nicest and most approachable of the FOTM players.
Finally R & K whose videos inspired me enough that I leapt when I saw a chance to join.

I missed the point.
I don't really feel like giving anyone an E-Peen boost tbh, so I won't say any specific player.
Battleclinic is the website which has most influenced me. Kills seem so much more important when they're recorded.

"A lot more than the usual" isn't saying much when the standard treatment for a noob is to trick them, kill them, ransom their ship, dishonor and kill it, ransom their pod, dishonor and kill it, then send them some hatemail and try to scam them somehow.

Skira Ranos. Guide to piracy and blog really helped lower the learning curve for me, from insurmountable to merely imposing. One of these years, I just may figure the rest out.
And for proving Sebiestor chicks make great pirates.
Honorable mention, Johnny101, for simply being...Johnny101.
As far as corps go, Dec-X, for getting me past the noob fear pf pvp, and helping me lose that hisec prey mentality.

Kirith Kodachi and his blog got me into 0.0 and flying carriers, I read his blog and thought I don't want to be a carebear anymore, Paxton Federation for being my first 0.0 alliance and being a great bunch right up to the end of CVA's rule of provi and Firestar for being great group who I wanted to remain flying with after that fateful day!

Skira Ranos. It was his Beginner's Guide to Piracy that helped me decide to start pirating and enjoy Eve, and continue to play to this day. I'm sure that a lot of pirates can trace their start to this guide.

Several people, though you've probably not heard of most of them:
Role Play: This guy was my first real PvP experience in Eve. As a lowly several-week old nubbin, I was jet can mining in a belt. He wandered up, stole my ore, and I, being a lowly stupid nubbin, shot at him. After dying in a blaze of fire and getting exceptionally ****ed, I lost several more ships to him in just 10 minutes or so. It was a harsh lesson, but he really did a lot to correct my misconceptions about Eve. (Thanks Role Play! )
EthanPow: The CEO of the first corporation that I ever joined (Drakeal Inc.). He was awful and showed me everything I needed to know about being a fail CEO. If I'm ever unsure about something, I ask myself what he would do and then to the complete opposite. He's also, apparently, very easy to scam and the Project Nemesis guys have done so several times.
Amber K'tan: Amber was an older player in Drakeal and made sure that I had access to GOOD advice. He had a lot of patience and explained all of the basics to me and ensured that I had what I needed to succeed, and eventually left Drakeal for a good corporation and took me with him. Unfortunately, Amber was biomassed a while back and I have no idea what happened to the player behind Amber. If you're still out there, you haven't been forgotten.

I know Im going to get flak for this but here goes...
I have to put in a vote for Revan Neferis...she engaged me in forum role-play (when everyone else ignored me) and that has grown into my RPing in ingame as well, which has made for some really good times with my Corp and others that I have interacted with.

Special: Imperial Apocalypse, the reason I went Amarr, that ship has been a (wet) dream since I started playing.
