So, I decided to attempt to rat my way back into cuddly carebear land so I could spread some hulkageddon love. Not bad, my sec status, -6.7. So, to Delve I go, find a couple relatively quiet unclaimed systems, and am ratting away. Mindnumbing. Boring. But, gotta do it.
I cleared a spawn of crappy cruisers so something better would spawn, and lo and behold, A rat named Raysere Giant, with a 21m bounty, is in the belt my next run through. Neat, I think, so I proceed to kill it (note. doing this in a wolf takes time and luck, thanks to the locals for leaving me undisturbed while this happened) and it drops a crap-ton of expensive looking goodies.
Proof
So, not only did CCP help my sec status (this single rat was good for a .3 increase) and fatten my wallet considerably, but, now there are even more fun goodies in the eve market, some of which will hopefully wind up on KMs, posted on this board, at some point in the near future.
CCP does love us, after all!
aaand photobucked it being ******ed, worked when I previewed it...any ideas on how to fix that? I fails at forums...

Only officer I've found was the one my fleet stole from the Russian who was trying to kill it in Curse, boy was he ****ed

Not really. Just sharing something I was sort of happy about.
But, it is relevant. Everyone knows fixing sec status sucks. Sure is nice when one of the rats you have to shoot anyway makes you a big chunk of isk.

Apologies for my less than on-topic reply earlier. Just had to counter the Lana Trollin' guff.
While this is tenuous C&P material I see where you are coming from and it's actually quite rare to get any solid information about officer spawns and where they appear.
Must have been fun getting that stuff out without crapping your pants. I'd have used wormholes rather than risk the chokepoints myself. Kind of interesting how wormholes have made 0.0 entry in more heavy duty ratting/plexing and of course pvp ships FAR more accessible.
Cant see the actual modules you snagged there but it looks like a good 2-5b worth

So I was warping to this Ice belt today, and I suddenly see a named npc BS with frigate escort and having read this thread a few days back I could have sworn it was the same guy. So with isk signs shining in my eyes I speed off to the nearest system where I could get a battleship. Wasn't sure about his dps so I wasn't taking chances with the suicide fit harbinger I was flying. Abaddon for sale, great I take it. Fit it, rig it, insure it, toss in some drones and I rush back as fast as I can, hoping, praying that noone beat me to it.
Damn glad to see he's still there and I engage. Drones at the frigs first, approaching him while I get into optimal. Only then I notice the bounty: only 325.000 isk ... So I check his name, at tab to google and find out it is a damn fixed location cosmos mob! Name wasn't all that similar after all. >_<

OT: Nice. Thats quite a bit of loot there  Similar thing happened to me in Syndicate, found a Shadow Serpentis rat and it dropped a Vindicator BPC. Ironically, this was about the time I saw someone lose a vindi in AT8, so I sent him a mail after the match asking if he wanted a new one
I didn't get a reply

Well, still in the process of selling the stuff, but yes, definately was touchy there for a minute. I forgot to pop the named wreck, and before long, a visitor was trying to probe me out; cloaky wolf ftw. A friend of mine came out to truck it all home in a T3, and it is all safely stashed away in Amarr, awaiting sale. But, oh yes, I was quite worried for a bit. To me this stuff is a huge amount of isk, and will serve me well. It actually made it so I dont need to worry about my sec status now, by the time I spend this, my new mission runner alt will be trained up. Thankfully this area of Delve has been really quiet since Goons left.

That drop is pretty poor. Last 2 officers I got were 1.4bn, and 2.0bn. Within 2 days of each other. Was kinda awesome.
