Anyway, I don't think Kestrels get enough love. So here is a chance to abuse them to your hearts content.
Go wild, show me your craziest out-of-the-box Kestrel fits.
ECM Kestrels, rocket kestrels, nano-kestrels, bait-kestrels(i know wtf?), what are the best stats for each role you can make.

Kinda expensive for a crappy frigate but it is easier to bait frigs into a 1vs1 against a kestrel than a rifter.

I think the MWD/SML kiter is the way to go for general combat.
Once in a while I look at the Rocket Spec on my charater sheet, wonder "Why did I train that?", and try to theorycraft a rocket Kestrel.

Theory is: only fight people if they have 2 mids, or if you somehow know they have an MWD, so you can control range on them. Stick at about 8km and peck them to death. Of course, anybody this would work against will be trying their hardest to start the fight up close.
I was never sufficiently convinced about this tactic/fit to actually build it, mostly because I figured I'd have to pass up 20 fights for every one I took, but it's my best shot.

This looks fun, would probably have a small gang of similarly fit Kessies on suicide roams ganking loan cruisers and the like. Basically about to start training up some newer players, and I have an unatural love for the Kestrel, plus a Kessie fleet has a small lol factor 
I remember taking down a poorly fit harb over a year ago with 7 nano-condors, mostly piloted by miners. Frigs am best ships <3
Now if only I could get hold of an Utu...
