The description states that higher levels of Jury Rigging is required to access other rigging skills. Other than that it offers no benefit, yet I can't find any other skill than needs more than Jury Rigging III.
Is there any reason to train this beyond III
Thanks is advance.

Look at the requirements for a T2 CCC rig.

Not true.
For example, I recall they drastically lowered the requirements for scanning...right after I spend 3 months getting the skills up high enough.
There's many, many things you can complain about in EVE, but it is not so that old players have a massive advantage over newer players. It's player skill that matters, not skills.

Ah right, thanks. I had looked on the Armor and Projectile Weapon Rigs before posting the question, but not those ones.
So T2 Energy and T2 Electronic (not Electronic Superiority) rigs require Jury Rigging IV - but that is just to fit them to your ship right? As I understand, if you haven't got the required skills for a particular rig, it will still work for you if you get someone else to fit it.
So there may be a requirement to have an Alt or a friend with Jury Rigging IV, but no requirement for anyone to have Jury Rigging V

Edited by: Ferdi Faurie on 19/07/2010 11:37:57 Jury Rigging V is needed to manufacture tech III subsystems. Not sure what other rigs would need it, most of the Tech II rigs only require Jury Rigging IV, and as you stated you only need them to fit, if someone else fits it will still work for you.

Jury Rigging V is only needed to build T3 subsystems.
