Hi All,
I've been playing EVE on and off over the last year or so, lack of direction kind of hindered my interest in continuing to play.
Basically my main goal is to score some Fed Navy Ships and earn some decent coin and then go from there.
I currently have the following standings;
Gallente Federation 0.41
Federation Navy 0.57
I have a Thorax decently loaded up and have most of the certs for that ship.
My problem is I'm finding it extremely difficult to find Agents for Federation Navy that are at least Level 2..I swear I've done over 150 Level 1 missions but am still to low for Level 2 missions.
As for the mission types I am not fussed, however basic bounty/frig kills with loot pick up would be good, or if anyone has any suggestions for more of a scouting/ops kind of role it would be appreciated.
Like I said earlier, semi noob, just trying to find some direction.

first off the *racial* navy have some pretty bad LP conversions.
Train "social" to level 4. dont run faction missions that makes you fight caldari or amarr otherwise you can't get into jita (not a big loss but it can be a pain)
Few other skills to increase LP returns and stuff, just read some descriptions of them.
also look at http://eve-agents.com/ for agents.

This will help with standings.
You can work it with one specific Faction or with all the major Factions.

the Fed Navy station in Masalle has 3x L3 agents, a couple of L2's and I think an L1. I don't much about the Fed Navy ships or LP conversion (I'm mostly doing it for the stasis webs), but I ground out 4.5 standings doing L3's in just two days (though the storylines come from University of Calle)

With a standing of 0.57 the best agent that will talk with you from the Federation Navy is Aussa Colare in Reblier, but she is in Public Relations so the missions won't be that good. If I were you I would grind my standings until they are 0.65 then go and chat with Aidarard Achatin in Iges. Not only does she give good missions, when you get high enough standings with her she starts flirting with you.
PS
Iges is low sec, but you're not a carebear, are you?
Edit: Also, ditch the Thorax and run level one missions in an Incursus, it will be much faster.
