Ok this has been troubling me for a LONG time now 
I am soon finishing Evasive Manuvering to lvl5 and i will start training a frigate skill to lvl5. Before the last patch i had 100% decided to take a crow, but now the crusader seems much better.
So here i am posting and asking your opinion. What would YOU chose?
Help a pirate in need

I've always felt that the Crusader was vastly superior to the Crow, even before the propulsion changes, even before the laser buffs - must have killed nearly twenty Crows with my Crusader now.
With the propulsion changes, the Crusader's easily your best bet. It's always been the best anti-interceptor interceptor, and anyone who disputes this statement is clueless.

i remember a crusader that destroyed my crow b4 i launched a single missile, yes, one shot from each of its weapons n went down. Crusader looks better also.

Kark, the original poster probably wasn't considering spending many many times the price of the inty to fit it out 
I always find that funny. "Spend 100 mil and this inty will rock!"

It will rock  , more so than any other inty that has spent the same amount of cash.

get the crusader!!
the crusader..
superior in speed, looks, defence..
it can go long range and short range..
the only diadvantage is that it cannot do more than 2 damage types like the crow.
we can play in pf together! <3

neither..with the new need to use a mwd you get hit by the biggest cruiser guns..and a bs even managed to hit me in my crusader as soon as i dropped below 2 km/s while orbiting (and cruise missiles hit you)..inters, as much as i hate to whine, have become pretty well expensive frigs and are no more than that.. (wow you have tiny sig radius and strap a mwd on, makes sense huh?)
it defeats the point.

As for the crow - Weirda find that it's best to use a malediction, then you can throw a sensor dampener in the middle. Targetting range is so short, they will inevitably end up in webber range and you *will* wtfpwn them... (This was true prior to the propultion changes as well...)...

the cost of my setup and crusader costs about as much as buying a crow, and everything is available on market or escrow 23/7.

Crow pilot here...Crusaders can kill crows without -that- much probs (but you must use top of the line t2 items and guns), but that won't be as taken for granted as it is now when t2 launchers come out

Let's just hope the soon (tm) to come tech II launchers will have requirements just as horrible as the tech II guns. Might take some time before we see tech II Siege Launchers then.
Then again, knowing CPP, they'll probably just ask for Missile Launcher Operation 5 and Weapon Upgrades 4 to be able to fit tech II launchers....
