Originally by: SabotNoob Some noob questions on worm hole space since I've never been in one yet. I've learned a lot in this thread already, lol.
How do you get out of one when the entrance collapses? I'm assuming you use probes and I'm also assuming there's always at least one way out?
More or less, but yeah, that's the gist. When one collapses, a new one opens.

How do you find out if it has stations before you enter? Right click->info?
More questions to come once I think of them.
You don't. You go inside and you scan about and see if there are any there. --------------- Faction-Militia:Player-Alliance::Newbie-corp:Player-corp |

Thanks.
New question.
Is worm hole space just one big massive space where ALL EVE players are in together? Or is it like systems in regular space where there are many worm hole spaces? ____________________

There are no stations, only people's (abandoned) POS, which are not likely to like you trying to cross their FF or even decloak on grid with them.
Yes every WH system has at least 1 static WH, so you will find a sig on probe scan to the same class of space you came from if you came in via the static and it closed afterwards. |

The latter. There are systems (and they're even in constellations, I believe, though I don't know if that's something that's particularly relevant, or even visible, from a gameplay perspective). You can also find wormholes that connect two "K-space" systems (like a wormhole in low sec that leads out to a 0.0 system somewhere). --------------- Faction-Militia:Player-Alliance::Newbie-corp:Player-corp |

No probes and no cloak in W-space = baaad idea
warping to a scanned anomoly in a non-cloaked probing ship = worse idea
not bookmarking the wh without a probe ship = hi-sec express
found me a nice empty rapier floating in deep space once with a corpse right beside it, gosh I love wormholes.
for the noob questions, there ARE often stations in wormholes.. but you sure don't want to be warping to them. Even though the people living in that system may be friendly, there's nothign to say a roaming gang of cloaked bandits isn't sitting by waiting for just such an occasion. Wormhole space means being completely self-sufficient and having to take your own security very seriously, D-scan constantly and dont' get caught with your pants down, because there are many many people waiting to give it to ya dry and hard.

Your post made me laugh hard, the first thing you need to do when entering WH space is to NOT forget to bookmark the entry point, right when you're still cloaked. A lot of people are under the assumptions that because its 0.0 space, theyre gonna get gangbanged right after entering in.
And your best bet to avoid to being ganked when inside is not to use a rookie ship but your manticore since you re undectectable while cloaked. IF you fit a sisters launcher and are afraid to being ganked, just use regular one, at least you will loose only 15 mill.

Originally by: Der Valkirie Finally tried WH space, found it in a Manticore but did not want to risk it so jumped in an old rookie ship. Moved to a planet without bookmarking the wormhole and no stations. What do I do ?
So you could not afford to risk a couple million ISK on a Heron with a probe launcher and t1 cloak instead of a noob ship? So, instead, you risked 100+ million isk pod?
Serves you right.
Just keep spamming in local and hope someone will show you the exit instead of podding you.
