Albeit not a very good one. Decided to try to infiltrate my corp, but after saying "yes yes I'm in a hulk" while blatantly sitting in a PVP cruiser, his credibility waned.
Avoid like the plague.

He was in a hulk, the hulk was just invisible.
edit: That cruiser you saw was probably a rat (assuming you were mining a mission belt). It's ok, I confuse them all the time too.

That guy was in FALG for a bit, always liked taking the **** outta him on comms.
Also he did some "TII production" never did like him, not surprised by this!

Actually it was a Bellicose. And he was in the asteroid belt nowhere near an actual asteroid. How do I know this? Because I'd watched him on the "members" bit of corp to see where he was and what ship he was flying. The system changed. The ship didn't. :)
Y'dont mine in a Bellicose. And Miner lasers don't have a 25km+ range, I don't care who's Orca you're with... and just in case some of you aren't too familiar with ship types; The Bellicose and Hulk are 2 very, very different ships. One's a mining barge, one's a cruiser. -.-
