Hi everyone,
I am a new player to the game, only 2 weeks old. I am in the midst of completing all my tutorials and career agent missions. My whole purpose of playing this game was to provide a business service to fellow players.
However, after discussions and hearing opinions from fellow players in the Rookie Help, Help and Eve Uni, I realised that most people will be likely to shoot down your offering as a scam; or even worse, scam you.
Can anyone suggest how can I have a proper business offering, and not get shot down as a scam? The business idea that I have in mind is to have a service like PayPal, whereby I can be a medium for people trading large amounts of money; while taking in a small percentage.
Other plans include freight forwarding services.

if u new then well u need to build a reputation first which might be a bit tricky tbh lol
you mite be able to get some tips from a gentleman named chribba who people often use for escrow services. i think he has like a bajillion isks so people arent worried that he will steal their own isks cos he dont need it lol or somethink

You might want to read up on e-bank too, it operates just like a RL bank and as such is a complete scam, interesting history though.
One thing I'd point out is that I'd never trust an intermediary with my isk, no matter how trustworthy they seem to be. Eve has a variety of tools in place that function in a similar way to pay pal, although it also has a variety of tools in space who don't know how to use them.

Hmm.....don't take any notice of the pessimists in this thread. This sounds like a GREAT idea!! To get a feel of how it works mail me some ISK (say 100mil?) and I will mail you it back together with a 5% commission (105m).

What a nice, friendly, polite new player. After a year (3 months) of interacting with the EVE community his post will probably look like this:
