PI - Was able to Submit the Decommissions of TWO items - after which this stopped working. The items would disappear as if they were gone - but when I logged back in - they were still there.

Just downloaded most recent patch -> 16.31.171215.
No change in PI problems.

Yeah ...
I'd seriously suggest you guys get your house in order before inviting 300 people over for a party ...
It's like - a few weeks ago - someone seriously broke Serenity. Before that - it worked great. If you're going to have a big test on a largely unplayable server ... I'd go back to the version before that breakage happened - and patch THAT version with the code you want to test. This version - is FUBAR.
In any case, whatever you decide to do, given the several weeks it's been screwed up now - you've got your work cut out for you getting it ready for that test.

Yep. Selected Object doesn't work after first jump. If you like fly to a planet and click on that Selected Object buttons display but clicking in the over view area will not bring up the selected object buttons.
PI decommissioning hasn't changed. Decommissioned all objects in a colony with the Control Center last. Hit submit and - nothing - it clicks but nothing happens, just sits there same as before.

Well, what they did - was go back to scratch so they could run their mass test - which was the smart thing to do. Of course - this meant that the mass test was conducted against the active version of the game rather than any patches they may have wanted to test against a load.
What they'll be doing after this, to try and get back to where they were on whatever it was they were testing on Sisi before the mass test ... I've no idea.
Hopefully ... they won't FUBAR the thing again but if they do ... *shrug*
