Ok, got some rage atm been looking on google for over 2 hours with no answers . So I am coming here and hopefully someone can help me before I have a damn heart attack.
I am trying to find a way to save my eve settings, so I can import them when needed (By import I mean just click and drag a file into a specific folder, nothing fancy). I am not talking about overview settings, just regular settings, the stuff that pulls up when you hit the esc key. I am unable to find the folder on my OS which is windows 7 any advice out there is for mac, ubuntu, and windows vista or lower. Also, I tried downloading a backup installer and it only saves one copy to a floder that doesn't exist .
So where can I find where my settings are saved?

If I wanted to save my settings, bookmarks, fittings, etc. Where are they located on Windows7?
Someone has to know....

Please don't have a heart attack!
Check this link out: http://support.eveonline.com/Pages/KB/Article.aspx?id=371 The article is about clearing your cache and settings but gives you the location of them.
There are a few player made tools that can help with this but I don't have one handy. You may want to try browsing the EVE Technology Lab for one.

Hi There,
If you are looking to save the things such as your settings in Windows 7, the location of the folder is
C:\Users\Your User Account Here\AppData\Local\CCP\EVE\c_program_files_(x86)_ccp_eve_tranquility\settings
*In this folder are a few files named core_xxxxx.dat and a browser folder. I just copy all those files along with the browser folder ( this is where your bookmarks for the ingame browser are stored)
*You have to have hidden folders enabled ( by opening any folder, hit the alt key once to view the tool bar, tools, folder options, view, then select show hidden folders)
Send me a mail ingame if you still need more help.

May I note that the bolded part also can be different? For example when you installed eve onto D:\EVE Online, it will show d_eve_online instead of c_program_files_(x86)_ccp_eve_tranquility.

Edited by: Tarasina on 27/07/2010 00:01:33 For fittings, go to fitting screen and click on EXPORT SETTINGS. These ended up in %systemroot%\users\*username*\my docs\Eve\fittings for me
systemroot = harddrive-letter where you installed windows (D: for me)

The results of a Google search depends pretty much entirely on how YOU type in the search request. All of the above answers were on the first page of the search that I did.
Also, try Eve Search for things Eve related. You might have better results.
