Quote: "Tyrannis opens up several new features, including EVE Gate, a front-end and social networking system. With Tyrannis, tools will be accessible via any web browser, allowing players to communicate within the game without being logged into the game. This expansion also introduces new Planetary Interaction, /snip" http://www.european-games-award.com/index.php/awards/85-eve-online-tyrannis
The more success CCP has the better my game is, so i'll probably vote. However, I'll vote because I don't know the other games, not because i'm excited with Tyrannis. If it was Apocrypha - or a "devoted to excellence" EVE release (Spaceships etc.) before Incarna - I would climb the Eiffel Tower and wave your corporate banner.

holy smokes - the 88mm is my favorite gun. It was developed as an anti-aircraft gun and was used on tanks, subs and as an anti-tank gun with great success. I would really like a couple of those instead of my crappy Rocket Launchers. _____________________________ Lessons Learned from New Eden |

I wonder if they paid their investors off yet? Or if they have any new investors? Would explain the growth spurt at CCP games in recent years!
If they are going for an IPO, then it all makes sense. Investors don't give a hoot about lag - check the cartoon at the bottom of this page: Scrum makes you smarter
Where do they get the Iskies from; I have two active accounts, and since I suck at PVP I need my iskies in reserve for moving back to 0.0 ... hold on... nvm _______________________ P3T Blog: Lessons Learned from New Eden |

These guys passed inept management 101 for sure.
not so sure about that - if they are going public (i.e. IPO) then they need some leverage i.e. something venture capitalists finds attractive. CCP has a LOT of executives on the Board of Directors. They even have a CMO (Chief Marketing Officer) - had to look that one up - probably a part of the merger deal. I'm quite sure that Scotty (Ryan Scott Dancey) is very competent at his job (picture here: http://www.linkedin.com/pub/ryan-dancey/5/858/8b3) _______________________ P3T Blog: Lessons Learned from New Eden |
