Objectives in Eve:
To progress as an explorer/scientist/miner and eventually as a black ops pilot; using my skills to support my corp during conflict and clandestine operations. Oh ya, and make ISK to pay the bills all the while.
Story:
I am a mature player that recently took some time off from Eve and came back to find that my Corp, BOLEG is quite dead. Those who are attempting to bring it back have stated to purse a pure PVP corp in 0.0. This does not interest me and thus here I am looking for a new corp to welcome me into it's fold. I'm looking for a Corp that is friendly, casual in their play, but also serious about player committing corp time to ensure that the corp(and therefore the members)are advancing in both ISK, Skills(not just SP) and enjoyment of the game.
My profession is a combination of explorer and scientist with a black ops(EWAR) theme. I am a PVP'er but I do suck at it, and am willing to fly in low or even through 0.0. I do enjoy mining in all of it's homework enabling time, easy isk, and free manufacturing materials. I have no problem with mission grinding, especially to raise standings for research and manufacturing needs.
In RL I am a full time student and part time worker but starting in mid September, I will be committing playtime of 4-5 hrs period once a week, most likely during the weekday evenings. I work every other weekend. Please note that for most of August I will be unavailable due to work. I Thought I would post this to test the waters for any seriously potential corps. I will be available according the listed schedule come the 8th of September
My Summary:
Profession:Mainly Explorer, some Scientist and manufacturing, and semi-miner
Preferred Region: Anywhere in Caldari space (though willing to travel)
Factional Standings: Caldari good, Minmatar okay, Amarr and Gallente not so good
Time Zone: UTC/GMT -5 or Eastern Daylight Time (currently -4 in Canada)
Available to Play Time Table: Starting Mid September, 2010
- Monday - Evening (1700 to 2300) *all day off, but may need to do homework/work
- Tuesday - Evening (1700 to 2300)
- Wednesday - Day (0700 to 1500)*occasionally may need to do homework/work
- Thursday - Evening (1700 to 2300)
- Friday - Evening (1700 to 2300)
- Weekends - Work every other weekend, so it's not a weekly thing I can commit too.
Corp Summary
- Compatible Time Zone and at least one of my available time slots
- Serious about members commitment and attendance to corp operations
- Casual and Fun while actually playing
- Semi Centralized Operations Area - not a traveling circus all over Eve
- High Sec to Low Sec Operations (0.0 operations, yes, 0.0 POS, not so much)

New Eden Regimental Navy is looking to fill out its ranks. To be eligible to join NERN you need to have a minimum of 12 mil sp, exceptions can be made.
You also need to be willing to work independently and in a group situation as NERN is a real life first corp. As such our activity levels have drastic swings, some days you will see 5 people on others you will see 30+.
What are we looking for? We are looking for people who arenĘt in a rush to have it all in Eve, this corp and alliance both move in slow methodical steps that are planned out. We donĘt want our entire lives to be about Eve, but there are times.
What we need is PVP/Mining/Missioning/Exploration type people. Rebel Alliance is a NBSI alliance and we are looking at building up our pvp abilities as well as support our C6 WH with new pilots.
Here is a little information about the corp and what we offer:
 Where are your current HQ, and which systems do you usually mine in?
We are currently working out of the Kador region. Alliance HQ is based in Gensela.
How long are your ops, and about how much m3 do you mine per op?
Op length with vary depending on how people feel. As an orca pilot too it gets really boring sitting there providing bonus' and just pulling cans in. But average op length is 4 hrs. The amount of M3 pulled per op varies but usually 2 and a half freighter full.
How do you distribute earnings after an op is over, particularly if I was using an orca?
We use a heavily modified version of the mining buddy system that has been refined and reworked in house to meet the needs of the Corp and hopefully soon of the alliance. The mining buddy system works off of raw ore that the Corp buys from its members at 5% above the average median buy price off Eve-Central. Additional functionality that has been added to our version that is not in the original:
Invoicing System for Ore/Salvage
Missioning module for splitting the value of salvages and refined minerals from op
T1 Ordering System ū Allows Corp members to buy discounted Ships/Modules from Corp. All non-named T1 items produced on request. This acts as our ship replacement program as there is a 45% discount on items purchased from corp.
Character Skillz ū Allows you to share your skills with Corp Member securely.
Navigation Application ū Basic app that tells number of belts in given system and their radius.
Do you manufacture at all or are the minerals just sold directly to stations?
All ore is used in the production of ships/modules for the Corp/market.
Do you do any mission running?
There are 1 to 2 regular Corp ops a week. You will always find someone running missions somewhere for the Amarr Empire.
How old is the Corp and do you think it will be around for a while? Most of the mining Corps I've joined closed almost instantly, or within a month. :(
New Eden Regimental Navy is 2.5 years old. The leadership is too stubborn to give it up. At one point we had three active members but maintained and started profiting. Now NERN is sitting at nearly 100+ toons roughly 60-75 actual people.
What's your average age?
Average age of the Corp is about 20-60Ęs. With the alliance following the same age cycle; though we are a bunch of crazies and some nights you would think we were a bunch of kids. Or is that drunks? /me looks over his shoulder to quiet the voices.
Do you mine in wormholes, hidden belts or low sec, or do you plan on doing it eventually?
With the continued growth of exploration in Corp it seems as though daily we are getting hidden belts to mine, combat sites to clear and worm holes to jump, also the corp and alliance live out in a C6 we lovingly call Pandora.
What are the requirements to apply?
To apply to NERN you must go through a short interview process, and then submit an application containing a limited-api key.

hi m8 baby seals is a primarily pvp corp that lives together with close friends in low sec. Although a pvp corp we dont force ops and have our hands in all kinds of things within our local area from PI to ship building plexes and WH's we require a 10mil sp and training in pvp will be given as we dont take ourselves too seriously
We do use voice coms and interact socailly on there as well as use them for pvp ops etc. We hit most tz's so look me up in game or visit us in our chat room ingame ' baby seal clubbers' other chars to look up are varest. tacitorus. carrius or harriet(all ingame chars)

Just thought I would knock this one back up to keep it as alive for as long as possible, before I head off for three weeks. I appreciate both the postings here as well as the in game "eve mails". Please understand that I am not however looking for a 0.0 based Corp. I would prefer a Corp based in high sec, ie. 0.5. Also another concern is the Time zone - please don't bother contacting me if your in one of Russia's time zones...Eastern Canada and US only please, maybe the western UK and EU.
Thanks again for all the contacts but I'm still looking around.
PS: By September, I'll actually be 30m SP.
