G'day people. As I am only just starting out within Amarr space I am hoping to find someone that can answer a - to him or her - relatively simple question.
Now i've checked EVE-agents and tried browsing through the multitude of info ingame for Amarr corps and factions but cannot seem to find a clear indication of which corp I should choose to run mishes for. I intend to proceed to lvl 4's that also provide interesting LP rewards (ships, implants and IM modules).
Hopefulyl someone can help.

Ministry of War lvl4 Q20 Agent in a 0.8 system no low sec close by Average LP reward and Isk reward due to location in a 0.8.
Ministry of Internal Order lvl 4 agent in high sec Shuria can remember all the details mind but rewards are better.

Personally I would pick a huge global corporation -- as they have offices all over Empire space. So the fact that you mission in Amarr space does not necessarily mean that it has to be Amarr corporation.
As for LP rewards... the common sense approach is to get an item that results in most ISK per LP (that definitely does not include ships), sell it and then buy what you need (contracts or market) -- so the faction does not really matter.

I recommend going for the Amarr Navy. They give good rewards/isks and their offices are almost everywhere in Amarr space. So you won't have a hard time finding level4 agents. Amarr Navy's LP rewards provide good implants/BPs/modules and also navy ships, they are awesome. =)

If you want to play smart and maximize LP/ISK, then you need to work for Ducia Foundry. Convert your LP into blueprints for the heat sinks and armour modules, build them, put them on contract, and enjoy lotsa mullah.
However, Ducia Foundry has some crappy agents. Only one lvl4 worth doing in 0.5, and getting to lvl 4 is going to be a pain. Get the one in Garisas system for lvl 2s, grind him (or her, I don't remember) till you get the lvl3 one in perimeter and then grind him to lvl 4.
If you want "interesting LP rewards" in the form of whole ships and whole modules, the navy is good for that. But in that case, you'd still be better off working for Ducia Foundry and making a lot more isk and then just buying anything you want instead.

Edited by: Sempress Kaye on 29/07/2010 10:35:47 Thanks people for the replies. Will look into both Ducia foundry and the Amarr navy. As far as making most ISK goes: its not my biggest concern. I'd prefer to run 4s in a region where the Sansha missions seem to trigger (most) frequently. My initial assumption was - Amarr space.
But the LP items interest me most. The ships, modules and implants. I'd like to grind the LP for it instead of making the ISK and simply buying them. Consider it as me setting a goal for my missions - adding purpose to the missioning more or less.

Then look at it this way; your goal is to grind missions to get x amount of lp to buy x number of blueprints to produce x amount of modules to sell for x amount of isk to buy said ships and modules you most crave.
Then find the magic method of doing it with the least amount of work.
Reason people look at isk/hr conversions on missioning isn't because they enjoy doing missions persay, it's because it's a grind and ways to minimize that grind so you can move on to more entertaining things is the root of thinking.

You clearly do not mission for the amarr navy or are trolling something fierce. The amarr navy has one or two lvl 4 agents in high sec that you can run missions for. Ministry of war or theology council are MUCH better.

My main missions for Ducia foundry ,its two best agents are behind a wall of low sec, which keeps out 70% of the riff raff. but still get a fair few missions in low sec. if this is not you then try amarr navy or something else :)

Go ahead and clap. Mediocrity deserves applause. Why don't we go find Pandemic Legion and clap around them! |

If you plan on using Data Centers later on, keep in mind for that you need standings with the Ministry of War.

There are 3 Amarr factions.
Ammatar: Ammatar Fleet Khanid: Royal Khanid Navy Amarr: Carthum Conglomerate, Amarr Navy, Imperial Armaments
Minmatar factions to work for balance with Amarr:
Minmatar: Core Complexion, Republic Fleet, Republic Security Services Thukker: Thukker Mix
Standing neutral (when commuting gets boring): The Servant Sisters of Eve: Sisters of Eve -- B=g, Honor, Nar=d. Semper Fidelis.

At some point in time, for future reference, you might need this.
