I've lived the breakfast corp sales business, waffles indisputably sold twice as fast as pancakes.
Ninja edit: at identical margins. Meaning they would have grabbed higher margins to level out to the same volume.

Its only insane from the traders point of view. There might be some buyers out there who would like cheaper goods and know a place where profit is too fat. However, i have only very rarely seen buyers do that, so in fact it might be a little crasy to try.
