Why is this the first we've heard about this, only after they start writing articles on how annoyed the community is with the current state of the game?

I've noticed in all of these articles, the actual developer being quoted is never named. Makes me suspicious.
All of these threadnaughts driving traffic to these "news" blogs, with absolutely no verification that any of the quotes are bona fide.
