Edited by: Intar Medris on 30/07/2010 10:51:35 While looking at the market data for the highsec minerals at EVE-Markets it seems that highsec mining is on a upward trend. Overall it is up 3.14 points for the last 30 days. And 6 days after H3 it spiked slighty. Pre-H3 the total market index for highsec mining was 91.6, and 12 days after 95.6. From the graph it appears that highsec mining will continue to rise. Tritanium prices seem to be going back up, slightly but they are going up. Could this be an actual upward trend or yet another crash in the waiting? Flame me I dare you. |

I would¦nt bet on this. There is already an oversupply on ships (see the market - ships are cheeper than ever) AND there are no major battles going on because of the lag monster.
Allthough i do as well see a light upward in mineral prices in my region too.

Hmm, I'd say Mexallon plays the biggest role here, which is due to loot changes (iirc Mexallon looting was the most out of line compared with nominal mining/production usage), and there were also drone compound changes that could factor into this. I don't have the numbers for the drone changes, but they are somewhere in MD or S&I.

Buy ships now and sell your ore, by the end of august they will trade places. then you can sell the ships at a higher rate and buy up the ore at a lower rate.

On a side note, can somone link to a Eve Markets forum thread? I have seen the webpage, but given that the data are based on Eve-Central, I asssume they are dubious. This must have been discussed on the forums, but an Eve-search on Eve-Markets is not helpful. ----------------------- "Signatures" chatroom for traders / Hydra Investment Fund |

Perfect build for a Raven, broken down by mineral type value (average Forge) for the past two months: http://img185.imageshack.us/img185/5080/29july2010forge.gif
Minor isogen recent increase, HUGE mexallon growth in several spurts, almost everything else steadily declining except minor recoveries.

Very much what Akita said.
I did realize a hughe spike in Mex (very near to pre insurance changes), while other low ends are still tanking, although not as much as in previous weeks.

It depends if the majority of miners are going to start digging for plagioclase in light of the mineral changes. I expect some will try but it still isn't as easy to find as the ever popular veld.
I see Mex falling, but probably not quite back to the levels it was once at. Though the fairly slow demand for ships certainly won't help.
