Not a joke. I remember when a friend of mine from middle school showed me the little book he got from a church book sale and givaway. We both laughed because of the hot older chick being a dm and wtf a couple of girls playing too? If anything, instead of being frightened we were like where the hell is this place and can we convince the parents to take us there immediately..

My mother must have read that.
She always warned me to never play D&D.
Of course, I played a ton of D&D when I was young, and hid it from my folks for years, but when she found out, she took all my books and burned them.
I still get angry about it to this day. Sarcasm - Because i'm too far away to strangle you. |

This definitely brings back memories. Unfortunately there is no forum there to troll
Up until I was 14 I played D&D behind my parentĘs backs. Then I decided to use my head. We also played Battletech. So I decided that I would ask if I could play a RPG called Battletech. I explained to them that it was sci-fi and involved machines and no magic and evil creatures. They bit.
After about a year I said hey I have been role playing Battletech so how about let us play some D&D. They decided to let me play. The next few times we played D&D all my mom and dad heard was 5 pubescent boys laughing and joking for a few solid hours without disturbing them at all. I quote my mom as saying, "I can not believe that we did not let you play this for so long." They fairly quickly realized all the hype was over blown propaganda and that was the point where they really let the rings go on me and let me start being who I was and not what they wanted me to be.

This reminds me of a comic I was given on the street some months ago. It was also some religious crap, but it made even less sense. Must have read it 5 times before realizing you'd have to be mentally disturbed to find a connection between the story and religion.

There's clearly no reality to this comic strip, there are good looking females playing D&D.

BCS = "Bellicose Christian Syndrome".
really a predictive programming op to make them self-separate from society. So they create and are into crap like that what was seen in the comic.
D&D bad, but totally losing the concept of "just war" and being behind the police state, along with the same misinterpretation of Romans 13 used by the national socialists of Germany in 1933-1945 is somehow good with these people.
But hey, when you suffer from BCS and are thus twisted by it, anything is possible.
I get great entertainment breaking out the Greek Concordant on them. They hate it. Show them each verse is translated five different ways, and how the way they are trained to believe from the middle ages is meant to do little more than manipulate them - really gets them going. I get death threats.
Oh well.

A truly absymal TV movie which nevertheless had me in stitches from laughter at its horribleness.
