obviously I'll switch for rat specific hardeners and missiles.
But is it enough tank for missions?
Would a gist-a type x-large shield be a good idea?

More than enough tank, and all in all pretty perfect fit.
And no, it's not expensive enough for anyone without a grudge towards you to gank it. It just doesn't pay off and there's so many much jucier and easier targets around.

Looks great, don't change a thing apart from the missiles(javelin and faction). Maybe go for faction TP's.

There's 4 BCUs, as golem incidently has... 4 lows. And don't you ever ever suggest someone not going all BCUs in the lows of a golem again. Ugh!

I used to use something alike for Angels lvl 4 and it worked just fine for literally everything except few storylines, where tank was insufficient (I've actually got DC in lows). It should be OK for Empire factions.
