*sigh* storyline agents off for holiday?

Peppermint Patty	Posted - 2004.12.20 22:35:00 - [1] ok, yesterday some storyline agent send me this mail: 2004.12.19 20:59:00 I am in need of your services, Peppermint Patty, for a very special mission. Please come meet me at Scheenins III - Moon 7 - Nugoeihuvi Corporation Development Studio as soon as possible if youÆre interested. This mission is of utmost importance to the Caldari State, and would not go unnoticed in the world. I have uploaded the mission details into your NeoCom journal. With regards, Kamporailen Hoyera So today I started off to Scheenins, 12 jumps one way. Journal told me that I had a mercenary assasination to complete, but the mission details would not open. I then tried to talk to the agent but he told me that I had to meet him in station if I wanted an conversation with him. When in station he plain and simple told me to go away, he was busy... Well... I did what one does in these situations: clear everything with a relogg, and guess what: it solved it. Mission is gone, agent is gone, and I'm sitting in Scheenis, 12 jumps from my regular agents, trying to post this whine in a somewhat civilized manner. Please send me an action figure of a random eve programmer, it would be a big releave to stick some needles in it

I get to the station and he is not in the agents list, and when I start convo in the people & places menu he says he is busy. Kazaka Uoraa is the agents name, he is supposed to be at Sobaseki X - Moon 15 - Caldari Provisions Warehouse.

Syme	Posted - 2004.12.20 23:37:00 - [7] triath, your best option is to work for the best quality agent in the corp you first worked for (after starter missions that is). Look at your first agent in ppl and places and click on his/her corp sigil, this will let you access info on all agents in the npc corp and tell you which ones will speak to you.

Jonas Bane	Posted - 2004.12.21 02:13:00 - [11] Ran into this issue a week or two ago. The problem is that the important mission offer has a very short expiration window. The date listed in the journal isn't correct. You need to accept the mission pretty much as soon as its offered. Don't worry too much if you don't get around to it. You don't take a standings hit if you don't take the mission, only if you accept and fail it.

Yeah sure I'll accept this GREAT mission as I REALLY want to lose my implants to pks...they are so cheap atm... Oh I almost forgot, you CANNOT refuse a storyline mission. You MUST wait until it expires. Do something please CCP

Alesandra	Posted - 2004.12.21 11:43:00 - [15] I have had the exact same problem, just with a different agent. I petitioned it as a mission bug, GMs have replied stating that they do not know what happened, and have passed it on to the Devs.
