Last week I had some friends over who also play eve. After the obligatory "hey lets log in and show off our characters!" I was left with around 5 saved login IDs on my client which are not mine. I have two Questions: 1. Short of clearing the entire game cache is there a way to clear these? 2. Is there a way to disable the client from remembering Login ID's?
I have spent the last two days searching for the answer on the Eve forums and in google without much success, so any help would be appreciated.

the way i cleared my logon id's (i do it every 3months or so for old accounts)
goto this folder
C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Local\CCP\EVE\c_program_files_(x86)_ccp_eve_tranquility (this is for vista 86) then into settings you will see lots of .dat files with numbers basically copy all these into a folder (keep safe) delete the ones in settings folder then load up eve
when you load eve your list will be blank, sign in with your name, then check the settings folder again for your USERID .dat file, then to get your old settings simply copy from your safe folder into the address above settings folder
If this dont make much sense please feel free to convo me in game it will probably be easier im on most days most of day :) if i dont respond to convo just drop me a mail im probaly on my pew pew alt :)
cheers

Thanks for the info Sepi. I took a look and found that core_public__.dat, and core_user__.dat both contain the saved login ID's but I dont have the skill with Hex to safely edit them out. In the end I just wiped out all of the settings. I think that CCP should look into adding the option to clear this data, or at least give the option of not remembering an ID at login. Again thanks for your help.

hehe np, but the easiest way is if you had copied these files into an empty folder on your desktop, then as you log in with your correct id's the numbers on the newly created files match those that you have moved, and simply moving the ones back from your desktop > the eve folder would have saved all your settings :)
but kewl as long as it sorted.

Could swear the option to remember password, as well as forget usernames existed at one point. ---
