SoE Roughriders (SOERR) primarily focuses on private security and humanitarian work. We serve no government, though we believe government is necessary and will fight alongside those governments who seek to enhance the welfare of all their citizens. We believe that everyone has the right to life and liberty regardless of race, color or creed. We have no tolerance for those who engage in oppression or piracy and will seek to thwart those individuals at every turn.
We are in no way part of the Sisters of Eve organization, but we have entered into a permanent contract with them where our services can be called on at any time for a nominal fee to cover operating costs. We will continue to support them as our primary clients providing necessary military support to ensure their safety in hostile environments. In addition, we are offering our services to other organizations with similar needs.
SoE Roughriders is part of Electus Matari. Their beliefs align very well with our own, and we're delighted to have joined their fight against oppression and piracy. Both we and Electus Matari operate under a NRDS policy.
The Roughriders are always looking for good pilots. We're a small, combat focused organization. That's not to say we don't welcome non-combat oriented pilots. We proudly count pilots of all races and professions among our ranks. To join the Roughriders, you must have had your POD license for more than two week, have a positive CONCORD security standing and you must uphold our ideals.
Before applying, please consider that we are almost constantly in a state of war. You will be expected to act accordingly and be able to take care of yourself and know when to ask for help. We will of course assist you in these matters, if you want it. Current regulations might force combat pilots to take some security hits when combating pirates, but you should at all times strive to maintain a positive CONCORD status.
We have long-term agreements with equipment manufacturers, which means our members have access to ships and modules at reduced rates. It is still expected that pilots are self sufficient and can provide the ships they fly. When called upon, we organize corp wide efforts to aid the Sisters of Eve. We are able, both independently and as part of Electus Matari, to train younger pilots in combat operations. Our fleets are lead by excellent fleet commanders, both our own and from the alliance. We have a decently flat, no-nonsense leadership structure.

This means that our members act as real people of the Eve universe and that our characters respect the fiction published by CCP and see it as defining of the universe they live in. To this end, would-be recruits should have "proper" names (no Cpt. PWNage, Kitten Stamper, Uber Lord or the like) and a appropriate background history (biography). The corp channel is strictly in-character. Ventrilo is mandatory for fleet operations. Our member base is predominantly based in the Euro timezone. This is not to say we won't accept members from other timezones, but recruits should consider this before applying.))
