As the subject implies I had some ideas for the Loyalty Point system. It would be really cool if we were given the option to be able to trade our Loyalty Points to another character for Modules, Ships, Isk. Create an option on contract or under your journal or something. This would further allow us using alts in missions to Pool our Loyalty Points under one character. Another idea is provide us with a better method to improve our standings with other Factions. Right now my alt has max Social skills because of that I use her to start the missions and I use my main to obliterate the enemies. Since I want to Pool my loyalty points and not have them scattered between various characters I set it so that my alt receives everything after completing a mission: Isk, Loyalty points, + standing increase. The downside is my main has a 1.0 faction standing as his highest faction standing and is almost a KOS in Amarr/gallente/Caldari. It would be a cool feature if we could talk to our agents and have them increase a single faction standing for X amount of loyalty points and/or isk. Costing more loyalty points/isk the bigger the standing boost.
Well there's my two Pesos.

I think Loyalty point should simply be assigned to the faction, not the corporation. As it is, you cannot work for a zillion corps, o you will have LP scattered over many corps. If LP are assigned to the Faction, then you could work for any available corp, and build LP toward faction mods, POS charters, ammo, etc. It would be much more flexible.
LP needs to be pooled in some way - I agree wholeheartedly!!!

One option would be to allow characters to donate "unwanted" LP to their corp.
The corp could then pool LP from all members to buy stuff.

I strongly disagree with faction pooling of LP. Pooling LP to factions would mean that the LP store items of less popular corps lose value and people will gather even more to the best grind area within a faction. Why wouldn't they, since they can get LP much faster from combat agents and only a few corps have them in good quality, location and numbers. These agents are currently grinded much more than others and as a consequense the rewards their store offers lose value. They don't need any boost in profits, especially at the expense of people who have spread around and are working for the less used corporations with few to no good combat agents.
As for the increased flexibility, you can get all of the same stuff now. You just can't get it all from the same LP store by grinding the best agents of the faction. You can still buy the items by your LP by converting it to isk first, but have to pay a little premium for the harder to get items. It might require minimal effort on your part, but the current system is much better than your faction LP pool abomination.
I would support the ability to sell your LP points to another character though or giving additional uses for your spare LP than the current LP store items. The trading of LP isn't really necessary though, since trading the items through the market and contracts works just fine, but buying up those few useless LP points people gather, pooling them to buy things from the LP store and selling them for profit might be a nice new side profession.

Alot of good ideas flowing around in this thread. However I do agree, that with the way agents are currently distributed, that it would upset alot of balance.
I think before these things could become a reality, CCP would have to design a system for dynamic scalling of agent lvl/ql and rewards. Otherwise as stated, people would just run missions for the best L4 Q20 agent they can find.
An interseting possibility could be a system with two forms of loyalty points, for example; corp & faction LP's, or industry & combat LP's. I think it could add quite a bit of flavor if it was fleshed out.

I don't like the idea of faction pooling of LP for the reasons already stated by Destination SkillQueue. Think it would be better if it remained divided per corporation. I found the donating to your corporation idea intriguing as well. But being able to sell Loyalty points would provide another way to make isk for people. No one even touched on my idea for the use of loyalty points and/or isk to increase personal standings with a faction. Because there isn't really much you can do to fix a truly horrible standing with a faction. I mean if you were to try and run missions for them that factions npc police would just warp to your mission and try and kill you while trying to complete a mission for them.
