Why is this forum environment so....hostile?

For 10 months I used these forums as a cure for my "Want-to-resub-to-eve-itis" ... then about 50 days ago, I was getting a flare up and I came by to see the flaming .. in order to lose interest in eve again. What I saw was much worse, it was compassion and intelligence, and almost NO flaming... I was shocked, I read more threads, more intelligence, little flaming... how it has changed in just 50 short days. What gives? Well I played eve for about 7 months the first time, I cringed at the bugs, but people said don't worry CCP will fix em, I saw new content delivered, I liked it, then there were new bugs, and people said don't worry CCP will take care of it... they persisted, there were imbalances and things that seemed so EASY to fix, things that if they were in any other MMO I would quit, as I would think they didn't have their shi*t together, but NOPE CCP did, they cared, they were working hard to make sure the old stuff got fixed, and I don't mean updated, but actually fix ERRORS... Well then at the last CSM meeting we found out that CCP doesn't think they need to fix the errors and well I think it shocked the hell out of people... I believe many people thought that CCP was going to one day just fix the stuff they said they would, that they would add meta levels to list view, that they would... the list goes on and on ... screenshots from 2007 released from CCP show an AMAZING HUD and layout of weapons and targets ... we thought we'd get it someday we didn't ... why? well it looks like they think we'll just keep playing their amazing game while they make it even more amazing, and who really cares about those little things... Wall of text crits you for 10,000.02 <<< don't forget that 0.02 is VERY important to display, ccp hot fixed that when it stopped showing up TO CCP: The implicit promise of polished quality keeps me playing through the rough times. Don't let the Trolls keep you from your goals.
