Since they realeased the source code to FS2 leagally on the net, there are tons of great mods for it including an awesome Bab-5 mod. EVE-I.com~THE Info source

Many of the Freespace sites (I think one was FS central or something). There are still FS servers up amazingly enough last I checked, but they were laggy and not very full. I remember one that had the pilot running scared as the Shivans were on his butt. Poor guy... I then remember the one in which we board a shivan ship and fight them in the corridors. That one was cool! Especially since there was talk of a mod for their Red Faction engine of us fighting the Shivans. I wonder if the Jovians will have to be dealt with, like the Shivans...I can't imagine all us with our backs to the wall fighting together. EVE-I.com~THE Info source
