So it seems CCP will be at Gencon this year so that might be a good time to have a US meetup?
Meet at CCP Booth Saturday Aug 7th at ?
Lets get some input for a good time to meet other Eve pilots.

See you there. Me and a buddy, who also got hooked on EvE at GENCON 2008, will be attending all four days for the first time and can cycle around to White Wolf's booth at any time on Saturday AFAIK.

Just went by the booth this afternoon, and got my exhibitor badge. Our spot is right next to Privateer Press at the main entrance. We're the ones with the bar. I'll put the happy hour (free drinks) info here once I get it. Otherwise, would love to shoot the **** with any EVE players, even though it's White Wolf focused.

It's the loungey area right next to the Privateer booth (near main entrance) with the DJ, bar and fanciful furniture.
Talked to lots of EVE players, some old (2004) some new (2 months). Come by early for a Sat night party invite...and later in the afternoon for happy hour.
Let's go ahead and set up a meetup for EVE players 4pm Sat and 11am Sunday. Just swing by the booth, we'll either grab a corner there or go grab a table elsewhere.

I had a great time at GENCON and had a good conversation with Manifest on Thursday. I slapped some quick notes up on my blog. If I got anything wrong, give me a holler and I'll tweak. It was a crazy four days of gamer madness!
I passed the White Wolf party-booth about 4pm yesterday but it was a bit too crowded to get in. No matter, I had a very nice chat with one of the fanged-models. Win-win.  Seriously, she explained the White Wolf concept and all about the upcoming New Orleans event. Big reveal???

Manifest, was that you over by Cardhalla, or another of the Dev team? I didn't have the time to chat with you, sadly; things to build, destruction to be had, and all that.
