....Incoming Transmission.... >>>>>>>> DATA RECEIVED FROM RESISTANCE PROJECT HEADQUARTERS - UTOPIA, CURSE>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
ATTENTION FREECAPTAINS AND FELLOW CAPSULEERS!
This is a formal notice of a Declaration of War against the ideological fanatics better known as The Star Fraction alliance.
Our intelligence sources have shown that the recent Angel Cartel expansion to include capsuleer corporations has TSF officials questioning our legitimacy as true Angels.
So, despite being heavily outnumbered, we have issued a declaration of war.
Know that your crazy antics and your soapbox preaching does not scare us Freecaptains and you will soon think twice about questioning the judgment of the Cartel.
Grab your ammo and prepare for war. We are coming for you.
Sincerely,
Alexander Rykis Resistance Project CEO

Fascinating. Quite why we would question the 'legitimacy' of anyone as 'true Angels' eludes me but in any event I am not aware of such questioning by 'TSF officials'. Seems rather more pertinent a matter for Angel Cartel officials, I would have thought.
However that may be, do not be surprised if you find no Star Fraction vessels in Curse. I say this on the off-chance that your intel is as outdated as it is barking mad.
In the event you visit us in our current operational areas, we will be sure to welcome you in the time-honoured fashion: with blazing gun ports.

Ah, I see that which is said behind closed doors and what you choose to make public are two different things entirely.
No matter. I know you will not be in Curse, because both you and your so-called 'Freecaptains' lack the courage to take the fight to our home. No, we will be coming for you. Our fleet is making its way towards Kamela as we speak and you shall hear the noise from our cannons soon enough.

SF are in Kamela???
I think you both may need to step back and probe each other out a bit.
Best of luck to both of you. I hope for many, many kills in this conflict.

Dear me.
I think it is a near-universal rule that sentient beings tend to maintain a private/public distinction with respect to what they say and do. This basic psychological truth is not something that can properly be twisted into an accusation.
As for this case, I wouldn't rule out the possibility that a Star Fraction member has noticed your organisation and commented on its relationship to the Angel Cartel, but I have to say I think it is moderately unlikely. I myself had not noticed your existence as an organisation until the war declaration was transmitted to me via NeoCom yesterday. What I can say with absolute certainty is that no 'official' querying or investigation of your organisation by the Star Fraction took place prior to the declaration.
I rather preferred your claim elsewhere to be waging a symbolic war against us to this rather thin and slightly demented attempt at a casus belli.
As for our disinclination to travel several regions to fight people who have targeted us being characterised as lack of courage: well, hardly. Come to Kamela, as you promise, and let us proceed without the half-baked propaganda gambits.

Ah but you see, my dear friend, this still is very much so a war of symbolism.
I digress, we shall meet you on the battlefield.
And yes TSF is in Kamela. A movement order was issued just recently.

Oh we do, my dear friend. However, since the engagement you are referring to has to do with a contract, I am waiting until the weekend when I have more members on board and I actually have more than myself as an FC in the corp to follow through.
I don't care how we do against TSF. This, engagement, however is another matter entirely. I want to make sure we're prepared.

Good luck to you, allthough your not really going to need it.

Although I rarely find common ground with Amarrian loyalists, I'm forced to agree - but then again, this exact subject is why I feel that their reassessment of my corporation is nothing of consequence to us and by no means anything other than usual Star Fraction business - namely: transparent, increasingly outlandish and increasingly desperate ploys for attention. ----- Andreus Ixiris CEO, Mixed Metaphor

I think you quite often find common ground with Amarrian loyalists lately. Perhaps that might explain why you are shortly to become a target. Makes you think doesn't it?

I look forward to two things:
1. Star Fraction wheeling out bogus "evidence" that not even all of their own members believe.
2. Star Fraction impeding MXD operations exactly as much as you have for the past two years.
I have to say it's gratifying that out of all the Federal loyalist corporations you could have picked, Star Fraction considers me a serious threat. Means I'm doing something right! ----- Andreus Ixiris CEO, Mixed Metaphor

I do not know in what sorry perpendicular-to-reality world a thread started by a corporation that chose to declare war on us is the Star Fraction 'seeking attention' but I think the only real candidates as people seeking attention here are those who are neither members of Resistance Project nor the Star Fraction.

I was merely agreeing with what someone else had already said, and commenting on your meaningless and frankly pathetic guesture towards my corporation. It was merely an exercise in attention-seeking - why should I treat it as anything else? Should I call a horse a duck? ----- Andreus Ixiris CEO, Mixed Metaphor

Really? Forgive me if I'm being naive, but doesn't war mean some sort of killing of the enemy?

I have been watching carefully for the arrival of the Resistance Project's war fleets and thus far I have only detected the presence of a single pilot, Aria Jenneth, and I am afraid I did not see her craft. I have a feeling she was flying a covert ops frigate but I may be quite wrong on that score.
Perhaps we're looking at a careful buildup and intelligence-gathering phase here. Time will tell, I suppose.

There are many forms of war, not only that which sees your enemy staring down the barrels of a rack of Neutron Blaster Cannons.
After seeing the capability of Cartel pilots in small gang warfare in the past, I'll be following this one with amused intrigue.

The art of war is of vital importance to the state. It is a matter of life and death, A road either to safety or to ruin.
To fight and conquer in all your battles is not supreme excellence Supreme excellence consists in breaking the enemy's resistance without having to fight
If you know the enemy and know yourself, your victory will not stand in doubt If you know heaven and you know Earth, you may make your victory
If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear results of a hundred battles If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.
Treat your soldiers as your beloved children And they will follow you into the deepest valleys. To defeat your enemy, you must pretend inferiority and encourage your enemy's arrogance.
Making no mistakes is what establishes the certainty of victory for it means conquering an enemy that is already defeated.
There is no instance of a nation benefiting from prolonged warfare.
Speed is the essence of war.
The art of war teaches us to rely not on the likelihood of the enemyÆs not coming, But on our own readiness to receive our enemy; Not on the chance of our enemies not attacking, But rather on the fact that we have made our position unassailable.
The general who advances without seeking fame and retreats without fearing disgrace, Whose only thought is to protect his country and do service for his sovereign, Is the jewel of his kingdom.
The victorious strategist only seeks battle after the victory has been won Whereas he who is destined to defeat first fights and afterwards looks for victory.
