What do you do with them?
Example: True Sansha Copper Tag, Guristas Gold Tag, etc. |

Some of the copper tag are used in Cosmos stuff. Example, Angel Copper tags are used, but... Domination Copper Tags are not used (or at least I have never found any use for them).
In conclusion. Most of them are useless. Life is short and dinner time is chancy Eat desert first! |

Some of them also act as gate keys in exploration plexes. The regular tags are, ironically, worth much more than the elite tags -- which to my knowledge are entirely worthless. |

You will find out that many of the tags are valuable only when you need them. The 'insignia' faction tags are used for purchasing Faction items from your LP store. and the criminal ones are used for standings boost in the data centers. A big mistake is to just sell them at market value there are many toons out there that have made a fourtune out of buying tags for pennys and selling them for millions.

I got some CONCORD tags from doing a mission involving helping out some CONCORD ships attack some pirates. It says the officer tag stack sells for approx. 600k isk. After checking out Eve-Central I can't find a station that is buying anywhere near this. I am assuming these are in fact worthless. Am I correct? |

Save them for the tags-for-sec status announced at fanfest. |

Ouch!! Why on earth did the word 'pessary' jump into my mind? Bad mind, evil mind!! We can build and sell pretty much every ship. Check my bio for details. Our pirate epic arc completion packages really are very good: https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=12973&find=unread |

Hmmm, time to dodge and weave and change the subject I think GǪ..

Tags and insignia pretty well all have some value or use. Some can be used for: -Faction standings boosts via data centre agents (e.g. Altan Uigot, RSS agent in Emolgranlan, seeks 20 Angel Bronze Tag in exchange for standings boosts); -Loyalty store purchases (e.g. My lovely RF warp disruptors need, amongst other things, 43 x Imperial Navy Major Insignia I and 70 x Imperial Navy Colonel Insignia I); -Particular missions GÇô either for completion (e.g. the Gallente COSMOS agent, Ampsin Achippon, hidden inside the Contested Gallente Azure Chasm site requires Maschteri MarkanGÇÖs tag) or access to certain rooms (e.g. Access to the Angel Extravaganza 4 bonus room requires you to be carrying an Angel Diamond Tag); -Selling to NPC corp buy orders (e.g. CONCORD star emblem is subject to Angel and Serpentis buy orders, at 10M isk, in K-QWHE, amongst other systems, similarly all the CONCORD emblems you get running DED Blockade 4 can be sold to Pirate NPC orders).
Dogtags (dogtag image superimposed over the emblem of the criminal organisation) are pretty benign things to carry throughout space, but some insignia (navy insignias look like dogtags, and CONCORD emblems, also insignias, look like little certificates with stars on them) offend the locals and are treated as contraband in certain regions.

I am not aware of getting CONCORD tags via that route. All the ones(emblems) IGÇÖve collected have been from killing CONCORD / DED ships while running missions for pirate agents. Those tags are subject to buy orders by NPC corps GǪ but I am not sure that any of those orders are available in hisec, I always sold them in the relevant NPC null area or hauled them out to add to my tag collection.
We can build and sell pretty much every ship. Check my bio for details. Our pirate epic arc completion packages really are very good: https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=12973&find=unread |

I learned a new word today! My new goal this week is to slip it into normal conversation where my conversation partner doesn't know the meaning either. |
