Hi,
Does anybody have suggestions for an image search? I used to like Google Images, but I now find it rather terrible.

You serious?
I find being able to search by exact resolution, as well as all the other great new features, to be ridiculously handy.

Yes. However everything else is utter ****. All the images being of random width/height and them being "Overlayed" on the main page instead of the old "Below is the image in context, click for image only" system is a load of ****.

I have found the Bing image search to be at least somewhat decent.

Speaking of birds and images to be found. See if you can find me an image of people wearing those long beaked masks from way back in the puritan days. Can be seen briefly in Solomon Kane.

I've found a workaround.
It's using IE6.

Or you could scroll down on google after looking up an image and click "switch to basic version"...

Use IE8 Developer tools to set IE8 to use a lesser version compatability mode: http://webtrickz.com/how-to-run-internet-explorer-8-in-ie7-compatibility-mode/
