Try and join EVE University to get my basics down. From EU I'll look for a corp based in 0.0 but also focus on building up to wormhole capabilities. Finally my long term goal will be to start a Corp based on a Zealous Religion roleplay theme. But I won't to that until I get my feet wet. Hell i already have 3 in corp.
So there's my plan, and thanks for all the advice.
If you find blobzilla warfare is not for you find a corp based in lowsec and join it for more small-time, less lag-tastic battles. Check the International Summit forum for RP. I wish you all the best in this game, I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for.

I would say, try a little of everything the game has to offer and see if something grabs you
Eve tossed me a suprise of my own. I never saw myself as an explorer/scout. But for some reason, I can't put the Imicus down and stop probing down anamolies, mapping wormholes, or scanning down reds sitting in their safes. I'm begining to wonder if something is wrong with my head. *laughs* But, I guess whatever makes it worth logging in, right?
But anyway, that's what I'd do. Try a little of everything and see if maybe Eve has a suprise for you. For all you know, you might be the next ace pirate or blockade runner. --------- "The first rock thrown again, welcome to hell little saint. Edited by: TheStarman on 06/08/2010 21:17:29 Ignore the guy trolling about Red vs Blue. Fleet fights are usually no more than 20 v 20, not 500 v 700 or something.

Yeah man do you have a serious mental disability?
He's just insecure about how his 0.0 warfare consists of
1) Spin ships 2) Undock 3) Blob! Lagtastic! 4) Hotdropped again!
red vs blue is about the number of fights vs Super duper honor tank 0.0 carrier hotdrops.
Want to learn a bunch of PvP lessons on the cheap with a fraternity of guys who just want to blow stuff up... or drama and listening to how you have to shoot another POS?
Your call.

I don't have any new suggestions because I think joining a corporation, eve university or getting involved in red vd blue are all pretty good suggestions.
I wouldn't focus on what you can't do but on what you can do and you can quickly train to become an effective scrambler and or be part of a frigate gang.
The amount of isk you have means you don't have to worry about your losses but I wouldnt recommend flying the most expensive stuff you can afford because chances are you'll lose it if you are going to pvp. Later on when you are more specialised you can buy the higher modules because then you have the experience and the skillpoints to justify make the most of the few percentage difference they'll have on standard and cheaper modules.
If the isk is a real burden I might go for the comedy option and see if you can convince an alliance to rename a station after you or something funny
